Munquad Ali is a politician and Uttar Pradesh state president of Bahujan Samaj Party. [1] [2] [3] He was a Member of the Parliament of India representing Uttar Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha,the upper house of the Indian Parliament.
The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is a national level political party in India that was formed to represent Bahujans,referring to Scheduled Castes,Scheduled Tribes,and Other Backward Classes (OBC),along with religious minorities. According to Kanshi Ram,when he founded the party in 1984,the Bahujans comprised 85 percent of India's population,but were divided into 6,000 different castes. The party claims to be inspired by the philosophy of Gautama Buddha,B. R. Ambedkar,Mahatma Jyotiba Phule,Narayana Guru,and Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj.
The Samajwadi Party is a socialist political party in India. It was founded by formerly Janata Dal politicians Mulayam Singh Yadav and Beni Prasad Verma and is headquartered in New Delhi. The Samajwadi Party is currently led by former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,Akhilesh Yadav after he was chosen as the President at the party's national convention held in 2017.
