Ahmed Munzoor Shaik Emam is a South African politician. He has been a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa for the Allied Movement For Change (AM4C) Emam is the party's President.
Emam was a member of ACTSTOP in Johannesburg and later joined the United Democratic Front. [1] He was also a member of the Inkatha Freedom Party,but resigned from the party to be part of the establishment of the National Freedom Party. [1]
Currently Shaik Emam is the President of the Allied Movement for Change (AM4C) contesting the 29 May 202 Elections Nationally in South Africa.
Emam controversially stated in Parliament in February 2024 "that the City of Cape Town will be a bloodbath and that we will not allow Zionists to make this a Jewish State." [2]
Emam was elected to the National Assembly in the 2014 general election. He took office as an MP on 21 May 2014. [3] During his first term,he was a member of the following committees:public accounts,appropriations and health. [3]
In March 2018,Emam voted for the establishment of an ad hoc committee to amend section 25 of the South African constitution. [4] He did not win re-election in May 2019,as he was placed low on the party's list. [5] Party leader Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi resigned from Parliament in June 2019, [6] and the party selected Emam to fill her seat. He took office on 25 June 2019. [3]

The Inkatha Freedom Party is a right-wing political party in South Africa. Although registered as a national party,it has had only minor electoral success outside its home province of KwaZulu-Natal. Mangosuthu Buthelezi,who served as chief minister of KwaZulu during the Apartheid period,founded the party in 1975 and led it until 2019. He was succeeded as party president in 2019 by Velenkosini Hlabisa.
Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi was a South African politician who was the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of South Africa in the cabinet of Jacob Zuma. She was also President of the National Freedom Party (NFP). Prior to being elected to Parliament,she served for nineteen years as a councillor,fifteen of those years as Mayor of the Zululand District Municipality. She was formerly chairperson of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) and the IFP's candidate for Premier of KwaZulu-Natal in the 2009 general election.

Yako was previously a PR councillor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality and the chairperson of the municipality's Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC). Nokulunga Primrose Sonti is a South African politician from the North West who has been serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa for the Economic Freedom Fighters since May 2014. Sonti was previously a member of the African National Congress.
Mmabatho Olive Mokause is a South African politician serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces from the Northern Cape since March 2020. She is a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Mokause was a Member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature from May 2014 to April 2015.
