Murder Construct is an American extreme metal band from Los Angeles, California, United States. The band members are Travis Ryan (Cattle Decapitation), Leon del Muerte (Nausea LA, ex-Exhumed, ex-D.I.S., ex-Intronaut, ex-Impaled, ex-Phobia), Chris McCarthy (Exhausted Prater, Dreaming Dead), Caleb Schneider (Bad Acid Trip) and Danny Walker (ex-Intronaut, Exhumed, ex-Jesu, ex-Uphill Battle). Previous band members include drummer Jeremy Gregg. [1]

History

Murder Construct was formed in 2001 following Leon del Muerte's departure from Impaled. The band then went through several line-up changes and subsequently the band went on hiatus while del Muerte rejoined Exhumed, and later Phobia and Intronaut.

The band was re-formed in August 2006, when del Muerte left Intronaut. The band then recorded a self-titled 7-song EP. On March 27, 2010, the band played its first show. In August 2010, the band signed with Relapse Records. [2] The band toured with Kill the Client and Venomous Concept in September 2010. In November 2010, Relapse Records released their self-titled EP.

In June 2012, Relapse Records announced the debut album cover and title, Results. [3] The album was released on August 28, 2012. In February 2013, the band parted ways with Kevin Fetus, and were joined by new guitarist Chris McCarthy. Murder Construct then tracked a Disrupt cover for a tribute to Disrupt, which was released on Power It Up Records. [4]

Burnt by the Sun was an American band from New Jersey. Formed in November 1999 by ex-Human-Remains-drummer Dave Witte and guitarist John Adubato. ex-For the Love of... vocalist Mike Olender and bassist Ted Patterson joined soon after. A split EP with The Luddite Clone on Ferret Records brought them to the attention of metal-specialized Relapse Records. Impressed by the band's inventive, often humorous take on the metalcore genre, Relapse quickly signed the band, releasing a self-titled EP. All Guts, No Glory is the fifth full-length album by death metal band Exhumed, and the first since their 2010 reformation. It was released on July 5, 2011, by Relapse Records. Dane Prokofiev of PopMatters said the album is capable of "reminding you why Exhumed were and will continue to be revered as the gods of gore-themed death metal." The last album to feature bassist Leon del Muerte and guitarist Wes Caley and the only one to feature drummer Danny Walker.

Grave Robber is an American horror punk band from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The band started rehearsing in 2005. In 2006, Grave Robber released, a vinyl EP, Love Hurts independently. Their first two studio albums, Be Afraid and Inner Sanctum, were released by Retroactive Records, correspondingly in 2008 and 2009. The subsequent three studio albums, Exhumed, You're All Gonna Die!, and Escaping The Grave were released by Rottweiler Records, correspondingly in 2010, 2011, and 2018. An EP, Straight To Hell was released in 2014. Rottweiler Records has acquired the rights to Be Afraid and Inner Sanctum, with plans to re-release in 2020.

Leon del Muerte is a musician living in Portland, Oregon, USA. He is a founding member, guitarist and vocalist of the band Murder Construct. He is a guitarist in Terrorizer LA and Lightbreaker, vocalist in Impaled, and was previously involved with the bands Nails, Exhumed, Nausea LA, Intronaut, Phobia and Artificium Sanguis.

Iron Reagan is an American crossover thrash supergroup from Richmond, Virginia, consisting of Municipal Waste vocalist Tony Foresta, Cannabis Corpse and Municipal Waste bassist Phil "LandPhil" Hall, former A.N.S. guitarist Mark Bronzino, former Darkest Hour drummer Ryan Parrish, and Hellbear bassist Rob Skotis. Since their formation in 2012, they have released three full-length albums, one EP and two split EPs. Their 2014 album The Tyranny of Will peaked at 22 on the Billboard 200.
