Both stages of recording, before and after Mercury's death, were completed at the band's studio in Montreux, Switzerland. The album debuted at number 1 in the UK, where it went quadruple platinum selling 1.2 million copies. 500,000 copies were shipped in the United States.

They were prominent in the Australian live music scene and toured the US, Japan and parts of Europe several times. They issued three studio albums: When Goodbye Means Forever... (2003), Music for the Recently Deceased (2006) and Beloved (2014). The latter two albums peaked at #27 and #6 on the ARIA Albums Chart respectively.
"Die, Die My Darling" is a song by the American horror punk band Misfits. It was released in May 1984 on singer Glenn Danzig's label, Plan 9 Records, seven months after the band's breakup. The song is titled after the 1965 horror film Fanatic, which had been released in the United States under the title Die! Die! My Darling! The cover of the single is derived from the cover of the September 1953 issue number 19 of the comic book Chamber of Chills. The back cover artwork was created by artist Pushead.

The Works is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on 27 February 1984 by EMI Records just shortly after recording for the album had been completed in the United Kingdom and it is the band's first studio album to be released by Capitol Records in the United States. After the synth-heavy Hot Space (1982), the album saw the re-emergence of Brian May and Roger Taylor's rock sound, while still incorporating the early 80s retro futuristic electronic music and New York funk scenes. Recorded at the Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles, California, and Musicland Studios in Munich, Germany, from August 1983 to January 1984, the album's title comes from a comment Taylor made as recording began – "Let's give them the works!".

Your Past Comes Back to Haunt You is the second EP released by Australian metalcore band I Killed the Prom Queen in 2005. It is also the last album to feature Michael Crafter on vocals, besides the re-issue of Music for the Recently Deceased. The EP features a reworked version of "To Be Sleeping While Still Standing" which was originally done by an earlier band including Crafter and Weinhofen called The Fall of Troy. It also includes three tracks form their first EP, Choose to Love, Live or Die, along with two new songs, "Never Never Land" and "You're Not Worth Saving". Some of its tracks appear on the group's live album CD/DVD, Sleepless Nights and City Lights, which was issued in November 2008.
Jona Weinhofen is an Australian musician. He was the lead guitarist for metalcore band I Killed the Prom Queen, and was the rhythm guitarist for British band Bring Me the Horizon, from 2009 to 2013 and the guitarist for Californian band Bleeding Through from 2007 to 2009. In September 2021, he joined Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows alongside Craig Owens.

The Red Shore are an Australian deathcore band from Geelong, Victoria, formed in 2004. They signed to Big Phat Adelaide Records and Modern Music in 2006 and released their first EP, Salvaging What's Left. on March 27, 2006, the band raised national headlines when they were involved in a fatal bus crash while on tour, claiming the lives of vocalist Damien Morris and roadie Andy Milner.

The band was formed in 2008 by frontman Michael Crafter, who is best known as the former lead vocalist of metalcore bands I Killed the Prom Queen, Carpathian and Bury Your Dead. They have released one EP titled Can't Live, Can't Breathe and three albums: Cancer, The Long Way Home and Life and Death.
The Upsides is the second studio album by American rock band the Wonder Years, released through No Sleep Records and Run For Cover Records on January 26, 2010. The album was recorded with producer Vince Ratti at Skylight Studios in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. After being signed by Hopeless Records, The Upsides was later reissued in a deluxe edition featuring four new songs.
I Killed the Prom Queen / Parkway Drive or Split CD is a four-track split extended play released by Australian metalcore bands Parkway Drive and I Killed the Prom Queen in May 2003 on Final Prayer Records. The two tracks by Parkway Drive were later re-released as bonus tracks on the reissue version of their solo EP, Don't Close Your Eyes, in 2006. Split CD was Parkway Drive's first release, and I Killed the Prom Queen's second.
