Must lind (Black bird) is a compilation album by Estonian rock band Ruja. [1]

It was released after the tragedy of M/S Estonia, where the band's lead singer Urmas Alender died and is dedicated to him.

Ruja was one of the foremost Estonian rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s. The name of the band comes from a neologism "ruja", for science fiction, though there are people who believe that "ruja" is actually made up of the first letters of the band's important members. The Letter of 40 intellectuals, also The letter of 40, originally A public letter from Estonian SSR was a public letter dated October 28, 1980 and posted a week later, in which 40 intellectuals attempted to defend the Estonian language and expressed their protest against the recklessness of the Republic-level government in dealing with youth protests sparked a week earlier by the banning of a public performance by the band Propeller. The first season of Eesti otsib superstaari started on March 11, 2007 and continued until June 14, 2007. It was won by Birgit Õigemeel. The show was hosted by Jüri Nael and Aigi Vahing. The judges were Mihkel Raud, Heidy Purga and Rein Rannap.

The second season of Eesti otsib superstaari started on February 3, 2008 and lasted until June 2008. The hosts of first season were replaced by two male comedians/actors, Ott Sepp and Märt Avandi. Heidy Purga, Mihkel Raud and Rein Rannap continued as judges.
