Daniel Ndambuki famously known as Churchill(born 30 October 1977) is a Kenyan comedian who hosts the comedy television show Churchill Show on TV47 Kenya Kenya on Sundays. Churchill was born in Kitui town, but moved to Machakos. He has worked in the comedy industry since 1996 and has now become a household name in Kenya. He launched the Churchill Live Comedy Show in September 2008 but was renamed Churchill Show during its third season in 2012. The show has given a platform to hundreds of comedians in the country, the most successful ones being Eric Omondi, Teacher Wanjiku, Professor Hammo, MCA Tricky, Jemutai, Magazine and Dr. Kingori.
Hilary Boniface Ng'weno (1938-2021) was a Kenyan historian and journalist. The Harvard-educated scientist was born in Nairobi in 1938, to the late Morris Onyango. After graduating from Harvard with a degree in nuclear physics, Ng'weno worked as a reporter for the Daily Nation for nine months before his appointment as the newspaper’s first Kenyan editor-in-chief. He resigned in 1965 and established a successful career as a journalist for more than forty years. In 1973, together with journalist Terry Hirst, he founded Joe, a political satire comic magazine that circulated in many parts of Africa until the late seventies when its publication ceased. He is best known as the editor-in-chief of the Weekly Review, a weekly newsmagazine than ran from 1975 to 1999. He is also the founder of The Nairobi Times and the first independent TV news station in Kenya, STV. He was the producer of documentary videos on Kenyan history, including the Making of a Nation and Kenya's Darkest Hour.

Hawa Essuman is a film director based in Nairobi, Kenya. Her 2017 feature-length documentary Silas, co-directed with Anjali Neyar, tells the story of Liberian environmental activist Silas Siakor's fight to preserve the country's rainforests from commercial logging. The film won multiple awards, including the Amnesty International Durban Human Rights Award (2018) and the Audience Award for best documentary at the Riverrun Film Festival (2018). Hawa's first feature film, Soul Boy (2010), also received a series of awards. In addition, Hawa has produced a range of TV programmes, commercial films, music videos and adverts.
Kiran Jethwa born August 22, 1976, in Nairobi, is a Kenyan-born celebrity chef, restaurateur, and entrepreneur. He is the host and presenter of the TV show, Tales From The Bush Larder which focuses on the culinary culture of Africa. Since 2016, Jethwa has co-presented Food Unwrapped on Channel 4.
