My Moment is the debut EP by South Korean singer Ha Sung-woon, released on February 28, 2019, by Interpark. [1] It features five songs, which were co-composed and co-produced by Sungwoon, including the singles "Don't Forget" (featuring former Wanna One bandmate Park Ji-hoon) and "Bird". [2] The album debuted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart, and sold nearly 60,000 copies in South Korea in its first day of release. [3]

Background

Sungwoon said that he wanted to "demonstrate the music [he] want[s] to pursue" with the EP and not be concerned about appealing to popular tastes, although he admitted that he was "curious" about how interested the public would be in his solo music. [2]

Produce 101 Season 2 was a 2017 boy group survival reality show on Mnet, and is the second season of the original South Korean version of the franchise. The public "produces" a boy group by choosing 11 members among 101 trainees from 54 entertainment companies through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public also chose the group's concept, debut song and group name. In the season finale on June 16, 2017, which was broadcast live, the show announced the final 11 members who would debut as Wanna One. More than 16 million people cast their votes during the finale, equivalent to around 30% of South Korea's population.
