Richard Henry Myles Arkell is an English cricketer who played in three first-class matches for Cambridge University between 1953 and 1955. [1] [2] He was born at Abington,Northampton.

Arkell was a long-serving Lord Mayor of Wollongong and an independent member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly,representing Wollongong. In 1998 Arkell was violently murdered in his home,aged 62 years by Mark Valera. At the time of his death,he was under police investigation for child sex offences. Continued investigation largely cleared Arkell of wrongdoing,with police concluding that a tape that supposedly recorded Arkell making sexual advances to a teenager had in fact been faked by former Wollongong mayor and pedophile Tony Bevan as blackmail. Arkell was a Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy,according to his biography on the Parliament of NSW site.

Myles Lorenz Garrett is an American football defensive end for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M,where he received unanimous All-American honors in 2016,and was selected first overall by the Browns in the 2017 NFL draft. Garrett has been named to five Pro Bowls,three first-team All-Pros,and was the Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.
