Early life

Purchase attended Cherry Creek High School located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Coming out of high school, Purchase was rated as a three-star recruit, where he committed to play college football for the Iowa State Cyclones. [1] [2]

College career

During Purchase's first collegiate season in 2021, he appeared in all 13 games for the Cyclones, where he notched 13 tackles with a half tackle being for a loss, and a pass deflection. [3] [4] Heading into the 2022 season, Purchase earned a starting spot in the Cyclones secondary. [5] During Purchase's first two seasons as a starter in 2022 and 2023, he totaled 97 tackles with seven being for a loss, a sack, 18 pass deflections, and a forced fumble in 25 games. [6] [7] [8] In week ten of the 2024 season, Purchase recorded his first career interception, in a loss versus the Texas Tech Red Raiders. [9]
