Karen Gordon Mills is an American businessperson and former government official who served as the 23rd Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). She was nominated by President-elect Barack Obama on December 19, 2008, confirmed unanimously by the Senate on April 2, 2009, and sworn in on April 6, 2009. During her tenure, her office was elevated to the rank of Cabinet-level officer, expanding her power on policy decisions and granting her inclusion in the President's cabinet meetings. On February 11, 2013, she announced her resignation as Administrator and left the post on September 1, 2013.

Lynn Andrea Stout was an American corporate law scholar. She was a Distinguished Professor of Corporate & Business Law at the Cornell Law School and, before that, the Paul Hastings Professor of Corporate and Securities Law at UCLA Law School. She specialized in researching, writing about, lecturing on, and teaching corporate law, securities and derivatives regulation, law and economics, business ethics, and prosocial behavior in relation to the law. She died on April 16, 2018, at the age of 60 following a long struggle with cancer.

Ulrike Schaede (ウリケ・シェーデ) is Professor of Japanese Business at the School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) at the University of California, San Diego. She is a leading scholar of global business and Japan and conducts research on Japanese business organizations and business strategies, including management and employment practices, supply chains, and Japan’s ongoing business transformation. She has also published on Japan's industrial groups and political economy, antitrust, financial system and corporate governance, entrepreneurship and innovation She is the Founding Director of the Japan Forum for Innovation and Technology (JFIT) and head of the International Management track at GPS. She has written nine books and over 50 articles on Japanese corporate strategy, business and management. Her current interest is the changing business models of large Japanese companies and their pursuit of a “Mainoumi” – a concept she developed in her 2020 book “The Business Reinvention of Japan." She is a fellow at the Mitsubishi Research Institute and an advisor to the Life Science Innovation Network Japan. She also serves as an advisory board member at the IGPI Group, Japan, and the National Bureau of Asian Research.
Laurie Hollis Glimcher is an American physician-scientist and former President and CEO of Dana–Farber Cancer Institute. She was elected a member of the American Philosophical Society in 2019. Glimcher has been at the center of controversies related to animal rights activists, excessive corporate payments, and research misconduct. A 2021 investigation by the Boston Globe Spotlight team highlighted Glimcher’s activities on multiple corporate boards, including Bristol Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, and Analog Devices. After this investigation, Glimcher continued to receive compensation on for-profit boards, while doubling her salary to $4 million per year at Dana-Farber. In October 2024, Glimcher stepped down as President and CEO of Dana-Farber.
Irmohizam bin Ibrahim is a Malaysian politician and corporate figure who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kuala Selangor from May 2013 to May 2018. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He is also the Group Managing Director of the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), and is the First Malaysian elected to the Board of Director, World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). He also served as the Chairman of Conferences & Exhibitions Member Advisory Council (MAC) WTCA.
Jeffry A. Timmons (1941–2008) was an American Professor of Entrepreneurship, known as a pioneer of both entrepreneurship research and education. During his career Timmons published several books and over a hundred articles and papers. He lectured on the subjects of entrepreneurship, new ventures, entrepreneurial finance and venture capital. In 2004, Timmons was named Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year by the United States Association for Small Business Entrepreneurship and is said to be the first to have used the word “entrepreneurial” in a dissertation title, in his 1971 dissertation from Harvard Business School: “Entrepreneurial and Leadership Development in an Inner City Ghetto and a Rural Depressed Area”.
