NOiSE is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tsutomu Nihei. It is a prequel to his ten-volume work, Blame! . Noise offers some information concerning the Megastructure's origins and initial size,as well as the origins of Silicon life. The book also includes Blame,a one-shot prototype for Blame!,which originally debuted in October 1995.
This story portrays Susono Musubi,a young police officer in a post-apocalyptic subterranean city that's thriving with activity,who is investigating recent child abductions. She finds a heavily toned down,sword-like Gravitational Beam Emitter as well as other elements that take different forms in the later publication (for example,Silicon life).
NOiSE,written and illustrated by Tsutomu Nihei,was serialized in Kodansha's Afternoon Season Zōkan from March 10,2000, [2] to June 10,2001. [3] Kodansha collected its chapters in a single tankōbon volume released on October 20,2001. [4]
In North America,the manga was licensed for English release by Tokyopop,who released the single volume on December 11,2007. [5] The manga was later re-released by Kodansha USA in digital on June 28,2016 and in print on November 29,2022. [6] [7]
Great Teacher Onizuka,officially abbreviated as GTO,is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tooru Fujisawa. It was originally serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from January 1997 to February 2002,with its chapters collected in 25 tankōbon volumes. Rave Master,Rave,and alternatively,The Groove Adventure Rave in Japan,is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima. The series follows Haru Glory,a teenager on a quest to find the five fragments of the sacred stone of light Rave in order to bring peace to the world by defeating the criminal group Demon Card. Mashima created this series with the idea of travelling around the world and was presented with difficulties in its serialization due to its considerable length.
Blame! is a Japanese science fiction manga series written and illustrated by Tsutomu Nihei. It was published by Kodansha in the seinen manga magazine Monthly Afternoon from 1997 to 2003,with its chapters collected in ten tankōbon volumes. A six-part original net animation was produced in 2003,with a seventh episode included on the DVD release. An anime film adaptation by Polygon Pictures was released as a Netflix original in May 2017.
Tsutomu Nihei is a Japanese manga artist. Nihei has been drawing comics professionally since the mid-1990s. In 1995 he was awarded the Jiro Taniguchi Special Prize in that year's Afternoon Four Seasons Award for his submission,Blame. After working as an assistant to veteran comic artist Tsutomu Takahashi,Nihei went on to launch his debut series Blame! in Monthly Afternoon in 1997. Following the success of Blame!,he next penned Wolverine:Snikt! and Biomega. In 2009,Nihei returned to Afternoon to launch what would become his most successful series,Knights of Sidonia. An architectural student,Nihei's early work were mainly wordless,relying on visuals and backgrounds to tell their stories. His cyberpunk-influenced artwork has gained a strong cult following worldwide.
Ice Blade is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tsutomu Takahashi. The story follows Kyoya Ida,a plainclothes police officer,and his colleagues at the Shinjuku Police Department as they investigate and solve crimes in the Greater Tokyo Area. Tsutomu Takahashi,born on September 20,1965 in Tokyo,Japan,is a Japanese manga artist,who is well known for his manga Jiraishin. As of March 2006,he is currently married and has one child. His alias is Ichigo Nekota.
