Naana Oppon (born 2006) is a British athlete who competes in trampoline gymnastics. [1] [2]
Oppon began tumbling at the age of four, attracted by the power the sport requires. She admires Simone Biles and has said that she hopes to inspire other black girls to take up tumbling. Her father, and previously her mother, works at two jobs to support her gymnastics career. [3]
Oppon competed in the junior division of the 2022 European Championships and contributed to a team gold medal. [4] In November, she won the tumbling event in her age group at the 2022 World Age Group Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria. [5]
She made her senior debut at the World Cup in Coimbra, where she won silver, which she called a "very gratifying and a self-affirming experience". [4] Later that year, she won the British championships at the age of 16 and was selected to compete at the 2023 World Championships. [3] In the women's team event, she helped the British women's tumbling team win their second title in a row along with her teammates Saskia Servini, Megan Kealy, and Shanice Davidson. [6]
In 2024, she competed at the 2024 European Championships. She won the tumbling team title there with her teammates Kealy, Servini, and Comfort Yeates. [7]

Karen Cockburn is a Canadian trampoline gymnast. She won a bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the individual event. She won a gold medal at the 2003 Trampoline World Championships in Hannover, Germany in the same event and a bronze in the team event. At the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics, she won a silver medal in the individual event.
Rosannagh "Rosie" MacLennan is a Canadian retired trampoline gymnast. She is the 2013 and 2018 World Trampoline champion, 2012 and 2016 Olympic champion, and 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games champion in the individual trampoline event. MacLennan was the Canadian National Women's champion in 2005, 2009 and 2011, and in 2007 was the World Champion in synchronized trampoline with Karen Cockburn. She has also won five silver and four bronze medals in World Championship competition in both the individual and synchro events. MacLennan trains at Skyrider's Trampoline Place in Richmond Hill, Ontario, with coach David Ross, who has coached all of Canada's Olympic trampolinists.
Asha Solette Philip is an English sprinter and former junior gymnast specialising in double mini-trampoline. She was the first British woman to achieve a global 100 metres title at any age-group, winning gold at the 2007 World Youth Championships aged 16. Following a serious knee injury in gymnastics in a championship in Quebec at 17, and a rehabilitation period of several years, she returned to athletics full-time in 2014, winning gold at the European Athletics Championships in the 4 x 100 metres relay for Great Britain, and bronze in the same event at the Commonwealth Games for England.
Dmitri Vladimir "Dima" Poliaroush is a Belarusian gymnastics coach and former competitive trampolinist. He is a six-time World Champion, seven-time European Champion, and twenty-time World Cup winner. He competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth and fourth respectively. Poliaroush was the first man to perform a “Double Full In – Double Full Out” on trampoline and the skill is named after him. He is the only person who has been an active trampolinist and trampoline coach at the Olympic Games.
Emma Smith is a British trampoline gymnast and champion best known for holding the world record for difficulty of routine performed in competition by a woman. The difficulty was 16.00DD and was achieved on 8 October 2011 in Odense, Denmark. She is also the only woman to have competed three triple somersaults in a routine.
Erin Jauch is an American trampoline gymnast. Jauch competed in the 2014 World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach and won the women's double-mini gold medal. Erin retired from the sport in 2016.
Alice Nicole Kinsella is an English artistic gymnast and member of the British national gymnastics team. She represented Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal in the team event, and was part of the Great Britain team that achieved the highest positions ever achieved in the same event at the 2022 World Championships (silver) and the 2023 European Championships (gold). Kinsella won a Commonwealth Games team title as part of England's gold-winning team all-around squad of 2022.
Bryony Kate Frances Page is a British individual trampoline gymnast. She won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in individual trampoline. She is the 2021 and 2023 women's individual trampoline world champion, and part of the British team that won team gold at the 2013 world championships, and all-around team gold in 2022.
Léa Labrousse is a French trampolinist. She is a two-time World silver medalist and the 2019 European Games individual champion. She became the first French woman to win gold at the European Trampoline Championships with her synchro partner Marine Jurbert. She represented France at the 2020 Summer Olympics and will compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Kristof Willerton is a British gymnast. He won gold in tumbling at the 2013 Trampoline World Championships, thereby becoming the first British man to win a world tumbling title. He was part of the British tumbling team that won gold at the 2017 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships, the 2019 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships and at the 2022 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships He studied biochemistry at St Edmund Hall, Oxford.
Tatsiana Piatrenia is a Belarusian trampoline gymnast, who has competed at four Olympic Games, with a best finish of fifth. She won the individual events at the 2017 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships and the 2012 European Trampoline Championships.
Dafne Carolina Navarro Loza is a Mexican trampoline gymnast. She is the 2018 and 2022 World synchro bronze medalist and was Mexico's first World medalist in trampoline. As an individual, she became Mexico's first Pan American Games medalist in trampoline when she won the silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games, and she won the bronze medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. She competed at the 2020 Olympic Games, becoming the first trampoline gymnast to represent Mexico at the Olympics.

Madaline Davidson is a New Zealand trampoline gymnast. She competed at the 2020 Olympic Games and finished tenth in the qualification, making her the second reserve for the final. She is the first female trampolinist to represent New Zealand at the Olympics.

Seljan Mahsudova is an Azerbaijani trampoline gymnast. She will represent Azerbaijan at the 2024 Summer Olympics and will be the country's first Olympian in trampoline.
Viyaleta Aleksandrovna Bardzilouskaya is a Belarusian trampoline gymnast. She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics as an Individual Neutral Athlete and won the silver medal in the individual final. She is the 2021 Junior European champion in synchronized trampoline.
