Nadeem Zaki Manj is a retired three star generof the Pakistan Army who last served as Director General of the Strategic Plans Division. [2] [3]
Manj was commissioned into the Pakistan Armoured Corps via 75th PMA Long Course. [4] [5]
Manj was promoted to the rank of major general in 2015. [6] Upon promotion, he was appointed Director General Military Intelligence (DGMI). [7] [8] Later Manj served as General officer commanding of the 33 Infantry Division. [9]
As per media reports, Manj's rank was elevated to lieutenant general in 2018. [10] Following his promotion to lieutenant general, Manj was appointed as Commander of I Corps Mangla, one of Pakistan Army's principal strike formations. [11]
In November 2019, he was appointed Director General of the Strategic Plans Division (SPD). [3] Under his command, Pakistan developed much in nuclear warfare and ballistic missiles. [12] [13] [14] He also played a crucial role in developing the existing missiles of Pakistan. [15] Manj had discussed his nuclear policy with the government officials, notably Foreign Minister of Pakistan. [16]
Manj retired from active military service in 2022. [17]
