Nadine Baudot-Trajtenberg is an Israeli economist, former deputy governor of the Bank of Israel.

She received her B.Sc. in economics from the University of Montreal; M.A. in philosophy, politics and economics from the University of Oxford, as one of the first women Rhodes Scholars; and Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University, under the supervision of Larry Summers. [1] [2] [3]

She served as deputy governor of the Bank of Israel in 2014–2019, [1] and acting governor in late 2018. [4] She currently teaches at the Tiomkin School of Economics at Reichman University. [1]

She is married to Manuel Trajtenberg. They have three children. [2]

Prof. Manuel Trajtenberg is an Israeli economist who was the chair of the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the Council for Higher Education in Israel. He was appointed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in August 2011 to lead a committee for negotiations with the Israeli protesters and for recommending economic measures to overcome the crisis. He is currently the Executive Director of the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS).

The Trajtenberg Committee is a commission appointed by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on August 8, 2011, in order to examine and propose solutions to Israel's socioeconomic problems. The committee was established following the 2011 Israeli housing protests. The committee is headed by professor Manuel Trajtenberg, who `was at the time the chairman of the Higher Education Planning and Budget Committee.
