Nadir Ali Khan is a Pakistan former professional tennis player.
Nadir is one of four children born to educationalist Zakir Ali Khan. [1] A powerful serve-and-volley player, he was a national champion in singles and won two medals for Pakistan at the 1978 Asian Games, including a singles bronze. [2] [3] He competed for the Pakistan Davis Cup team from 1979 to 1981, winning two singles and one doubles rubber. [4]

He was also the highest ranking Pakistani tennis player. He led the UCLA team to victory with Jeff Borowiak and Jimmy Connors in 1970–71 and was 1971 NCAA doubles champion with Jeff Borowiak.

Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi is a Pakistani professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He is the only Pakistani player ever to reach a Grand Slam final, having done so in both men's and mixed doubles at the 2010 US Open, alongside Rohan Bopanna and Květa Peschke respectively. Qureshi has also reached seven further major semifinals across the two disciplines. He reached his career-high doubles ranking of world No. 8 in June 2011, and has won 18 titles on the ATP Tour, including the 2011 Paris Masters and 2013 Miami Open, with Bopanna and Jean-Julien Rojer respectively. Qureshi has also qualified for the ATP Finals in doubles on three occasions.

Leander Adrian Paes is an Indian former professional tennis player. He is regarded as one of the greatest doubles tennis players of all-time and holds the record for the most doubles wins in the Davis Cup. Paes won eight men's doubles and ten mixed doubles Grand Slam titles. He made a total of 34 Grand Slam finals across men's and mixed doubles in his career which is the joint 2nd highest of all-time among men. He holds a career Grand Slam in men's doubles and mixed doubles making him one of only three men in the Open era to achieve this distinction and won the rare men's/mixed double at the 1999 Wimbledon Championships. Paes, together with Mahesh Bhupathi, were the first pair in Open era history to reach the men's doubles finals of all 4 Grand Slams in the same calendar year (1999).

Muhammad Zakir Ali Khan was a Pakistani litterateur, writer, and civil engineer who served as managing director of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) during the 1970s. He was the honorary vice chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) from 1993 to 2012 and was a founding member of the institution. Khan co-founded the AMU Old Boys Association in Karachi in 1960. He also served as the president of the Pakistan Association of Scientist and Scientific Professions (PASSP) and held memberships in the governing bodies of Karachi University and the Aligarh Institute of Technology.
