Naeem Islam,often abbreviated as Naeem Islam Jr.;(born 19 October 1994) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. Naeem is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spin bowler who plays for Chittagong Division. Early in his career,he was playing for the Bangladesh national under-19 cricket team. [1] He made his First-class debut for Rajshahi Division cricket team against Chittagong Division cricket team in 2011;taking 3 wickets on that's match. [2] He made his List-A debut 2 years later. [3] He made his T20 debut 9 months before the List-A one. [4]

The eight teams taking part were placed into two tiers,with Chittagong Division getting promoted to Tier 1 after their victory in Tier 2 of the 2021–22 season,replacing Khulna Division who were relegated. The tournament started on 10 October 2022,and concluded on 17 November 2022 with Rangpur Division as champions,their second NCL title. This edition of the tournament was the first to use the Dukes cricket ball,rather than the SG ball used in previous editions.
