The Rajshahi Division cricket team is a Bangladeshi first-class team representing the Rajshahi Division, one of the country's seven administrative regions. The team competes in the National Cricket League and was formerly a participant in the now-defunct National Cricket League One-Day. In the short-lived National Cricket League Twenty20 competition, played in the 2009–10 season only, Rajshahi adopted the name Rajshahi Rangers and played in their official grey, black, and red colours. The equivalent team in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is the Rajshahi Royals.

Rajshahi's main home ground is the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium in Rajshahi city, which has a 15,000 capacity. They have won the NCL twice, most recently in 2008–09. They won the One-Day League four times and, as the Rangers, were the winners of the NCL T20 in 2010.

They recorded their biggest victory in a first-class match when they defeated Chittagong Division by an innings and 242 runs in the 2016–17 National Cricket League. [1]

Mohammad Ashraful is a Bangladeshi cricketer, who has represented the Bangladesh men's national team.

Farhad Reza is a Bangladeshi cricketer who made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Zimbabwe in July 2006 and is the first batsman from Bangladesh to score a half century on ODI debut. He is a right-handed middle order batsman and right arm fast-medium pace bowler and played domestic cricket for Rajshahi Division from 2004 until 2008. Initially Reza was not being picked for the national side by the selectors and Bashar insisted during the tournament that he could have used him. Finally he came to the squad after the injury of Tapash Baisya during the Super Eight stage. Reza retired from international and domestic cricket in September 2008, aged 22, to play in the Indian Cricket League (ICL). He represents the Dhaka Warriors, a team in the ICL made up solely of Bangladeshi players.

The 2010 National Cricket League Twenty20 tournament in Bangladesh, played in April 2010, this was first edition of a Twenty20 league involving the teams in the National Cricket League (NCL). The tournament was initiated by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It included six teams representing the divisions of Bangladesh. It was a limited success and has effectively been replaced by the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The tournament was won by the Rajshahi Rangers who defeated the Kings of Khulna by 6 wickets in the final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, the winning team's Qaiser Abbas being named "Man of the Match".

There are four cricket grounds at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan national sports institute in Savar, Dhaka. As well as serving the needs of the BKSP's students, the grounds have also staged first-class and List A cricket matches in Bangladeshi domestic competitions since 2000, and several minor international matches.

The 2019–20 National Cricket League was the twenty-first edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), a first-class cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. The tournament started on 10 October 2019, with eight teams placed into two tiers. The matches were used as the national team's preparation for their Test series against India in November 2019. Rajshahi Division were the defending champions.

The Bangladesh Women's National Cricket League is a women's domestic cricket competition that takes place in Bangladesh, with the first edition taking place in 2006–07. The competition is variously played using 50 or 20 over formats.

The 2024 National Cricket League Twenty20 also known as NCL T20 2024–25 or Al-Arafah Islami Bank present National Cricket League Twenty20 2024–25 powered by Walton, will be the second edition of the Twenty20 competition element of the National Cricket League (NCL). The tournament is organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It will include eight teams representing the seven divisions of Bangladesh and the metropolitan area of Dhaka. It will be played from 11 December 2024 to 24 December 2024.
