Mohammedan Sporting Club cricket team is a Bangladeshi cricket team that plays List A cricket in the Dhaka Premier League. It is affiliated with the Mohammedan Sporting Club football team. The Mohammedan Sporting Club also has teams that compete in volleyball, hockey and badminton.

Mohammedan Sporting Club cricket team won the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League title nine times in the years before it became a List A competition, second only to Abahani Limited, who won 17 times. [1]

He played in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka and in 2007 became the first Bangladeshi cricketer to score a triple hundred in first-class cricket when Barisal played Sylhet Division in March 2007. The 2021 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League was the second edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League, a Twenty20 cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. The tournament replaced the 2019–20 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and featured the same twelve teams playing in the Twenty20 format instead of the List A format.

The 2013–14 Victory Day T20 Cup was a Twenty20 cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. It was played by four teams, during December 2013. Four Dhaka Premier League teams took part in a lottery to determine who picked one each of the Yellow, Blue, Green and Red teams. Announcing the schedule of the tournament at a press conference on 21 December, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that four teams would participate in the T20 series and AMBER Group would be the title sponsors of the event.

The previous edition of the tournament, in March 2020, ended after just one round of matches, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was abandoned and later replaced by the 2021 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League.

Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club are a team that plays List A cricket in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL). They are named after Rupganj in eastern Dhaka, and sponsored by the Gazi Group of companies, which also sponsors the DPL teams Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy and Gazi Group Cricketers.

The 2022–23 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, also known as Walton Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, is the ninth edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that is being held in Bangladesh. It is being played by the 12 club teams. The tournament started on 15 March 2023. All the matches are being played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, BKSP grounds and Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium. The group phase of the tournament will continue until Eid al-Fitr, while the Super League will begin after the Eid break. In February 2023, the CCDM introduced three new awards for this edition: Player of the Tournament, Highest Run-Scorer and Highest Wicket-Taker, with a prize money of ৳2 lakh for each. They also decided to give ৳10,000 as the prize money for the Player of the Match.
