The Dhaka Division cricket team is a Bangladeshi first-class team representing the Dhaka Division, one of the seven administrative regions in Bangladesh. The team competes in the National Cricket League. They play most of their home games at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.The equivalent team in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is the Dhaka Dynamites.

Manjural Islam Rana, also known as Qazi Manjural Islam, was a Bangladeshi cricketer who played six Tests and 25 One Day Internationals for Bangladesh. Born in Khulna, he was a slow left-arm orthodox spin bowler. He played for Khulna Division at domestic level and made his One Day International (ODI) debut in November 2003 against England. Three months later, Rana played his first Test against Zimbabwe. On 16 March 2007, he died of severe head injuries sustained in a road traffic accident at the age of 22.

Shahadat Hossain is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his Test debut in 2005 during Bangladesh's first tour of England. When he came onto the international scene he was cited by then coach Dav Whatmore as the fastest bowler in the team. The following year, Hossain made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Kenya. At times Hossain has struggled with conceding too many runs, and for that reason was dropped in 2009. In November 2010, Hossain was a member of the squad that won Bangladesh's first gold in any event at the Asian Games. A broken toe prevented Hossain from playing for Bangladesh in July 2011, but after more than a year since his last Test he returned to the squad in October that year. In November 2019, he was given a five-year ban from cricket, after assaulting a teammate. He made history being the first Bangladeshi to take a hat-trick in the ODI format.

Enamul Haque – also known as Enamul Haque Jr to distinguish him from Enamul Haque, who also played for Bangladesh, but was not related to him – is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He currently plays for his home team, Sylhet Division in National Cricket League and Prime Bank Cricket Club in the Dhaka Premier Division.

Uttam Kumar Sarkar is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for Dhaka Division in Bangladeshi domestic cricket. During the 2005–06 season, he also played for Security Express in the Corporate League and Kalabagan in the Premier League for clubs. Sarkar has also played for the Bangladesh Cricket Control Board Academy in Pakistan, and was selected for a Bangladesh "B team" of 13 for practice matches ahead of the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy.

The National Cricket League is the oldest domestic first-class cricket competition in Bangladesh. It is contested by teams representing seven of the eight regional divisions of Bangladesh as well as a team from the Dhaka metropolitan area.

The 2001–02 Bangladeshi cricket season featured the inaugural Test series in Bangladesh between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, followed by a series against Pakistan.

The 2002–03 Bangladeshi cricket season featured the inaugural Test series in Bangladesh between Bangladesh and West Indies. It was followed by Bangladesh's first home series against South Africa.

The 2003–04 Bangladeshi cricket season featured the inaugural Test series in Bangladesh between Bangladesh and England.

The 2004–05 Bangladeshi cricket season featured the inaugural Test series in Bangladesh between Bangladesh and New Zealand. The season also featured tours by India and Zimbabwe. The Bangladesh teams claimed their first test series victory in this season against Zimbabwe.

Delwar Hossain is a first-class and List A cricketer from Bangladesh. He made his debut for Rajshahi Division in 2006/07. He scored an unbeaten 51 on his first-class debut against Barisal Division and got figures of 3–46 in the one day clash against Dhaka Division.

The 2012–13 season in Bangladesh was the thirteenth in which first-class cricket was played at the domestic level. The main domestic competitions were the National Cricket League (NCL), the new Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) and the second edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Internationally, there was a tour by the West Indies.

The Bangladesh Cricket League is an annual first-class cricket tournament that began in Bangladesh in the 2012–13 season.

Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium, also known as Mymensingh Zilla Stadium or simply Mymensingh Stadium, is located by the side of Police Lines Road in the district of Mymensingh, Bangladesh. It is a multipurpose stadium. Cricket, football and cultural programs take place here.

The Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, also known as the Dhaka Premier League, is a club List A tournament in Bangladesh.

Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity is a Bangladeshi cricket team that has played List A cricket in the Dhaka Premier League in 2013–14, 2016–17, 2017–18 and 2021–22. Its name translates as "Khelaghar Social Welfare Association". Khelaghar is a patriotic youth cultural organization founded in Dacca in 1952, which has over 500 branches around Bangladesh.

Mosaddek Hossain Saikat is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for the Bangladesh national cricket team and for Barisal Division in domestic cricket. He made his international debut in January 2016. He has played across all the three formats.

Najmus Sadat is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his List A debut for Dhaka Division on 12 April 2005.

Sabibul Azam is a First class cricketer from Bangladesh who made his debut for Chittagong Division in 2003/04 with little success, playing in three matches. His highest score of 15 came against Barisal Division.

Iftekhar Nayem Ahmed is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his List A debut for Barisal Division in the 2006–07 National Cricket League One-Day on 27 March 2007. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Barisal Division in the 8th Bangladesh Games on 22 April 2013.
