Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club are a team that plays List A cricket in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL). They are named after Rupganj in eastern Dhaka, and sponsored by the Gazi Group of companies, which also sponsors the DPL teams Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy and Gazi Group Cricketers. [1]

Rupganj Tigers were promoted to List A status for the first time for the 2021–22 tournament, along with City Club. [2] They played their first match against Abahani Limited on 15 March 2022, winning by seven wickets. [3] [4]

In the 2023–24 tournament, Rupganj Tigers finished eleventh after the round-robin rounds. In the Relegation League matches that followed, they defeated both their opponents, and thus avoided relegation. [5]

The 2022–23 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, also known as Walton Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, is the ninth edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that is being held in Bangladesh. It is being played by the 12 club teams. The tournament started on 15 March 2023. All the matches are being played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, BKSP grounds and Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium. The group phase of the tournament will continue until Eid al-Fitr, while the Super League will begin after the Eid break. In February 2023, the CCDM introduced three new awards for this edition: Player of the Tournament, Highest Run-Scorer and Highest Wicket-Taker, with a prize money of ৳2 lakh for each. They also decided to give ৳10,000 as the prize money for the Player of the Match.

Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy is a Bangladeshi cricket team that plays List A cricket in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL), beginning with the 2023–24 season. In 2022–23 it won the Dhaka First Division Cricket League for first time, earning promotion for the 2023–24 DPL Season. They won three of their 13 matches, and finished eleventh.

The 2023–24 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL) is the tenth edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition in Bangladesh. It is being contested by 12 club teams. The tournament started on 11 March 2024. Player signings took place on 28 and 29 February 2024. CCDM has increased the individual prize money in this edition, with the Player of the Tournament, Highest Run-Scorer and Highest Wicket-Taker receiving ৳2.5 lakh each from ৳2 lakh last season. They also decided to pay ৳10,000 to ৳15,000 as Player of the Match award.
