Nakkna is a Swedish fashion label based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Founded in 2003. Nakkna is known for its avant-garde, yet commercial, designs where complex constructions and draping are manifested in clean shapes without unnecessary embellishment. Nakkna is sold in fashion stores through Europe and selected cities in Asia and USA. Nakkna is run by designers Camilla Sundin, Claes Berkes and Ella Soccorsi, who all met at Beckmans School of Design in Stockholm, which they graduated from in 2001 in fashion design. [1]

They were also nominated for the Future Design Award in 2004 [5]

Other projects and collaborations

Absolut Vodka commissioned Nakkna to design cocktail glasses. [6] [7] [8] for them and they also designed a Limited editions bag for Sony PSP [9]

The Swedish Postal stamps collection released in August 2007 also futures Nakkna as one of the new breed of Swedish Design Labels. [10] [11]

Cheap Monday is a Swedish clothing label. It was founded in 2004 by Örjan Andersson and Adam Friberg, originally as a second-hand clothing store, in a suburb of Stockholm. The clothes started selling on March 10, 2004, and from the beginning in only one store called Weekday. The name of the brand derived from the fact that the original store was only open on Sunday. The brand was known for their idiosyncratic designs, and expanded from their original focus on jeans to include sneakers, flannel, and shirts.

Filipino fashion designer Lesley Mobo has worked in Paris and London. He spent his early years in Philippines before moving to London to study Fashion. After gaining a University degree in Biology and a scholarship offer from a Medical school, he instead turned his hands into fashion design. Graduating from Central St Martin's in 2002 with a First Class B.A. Honours Degree in Fashion, his final year collection titled "Maniac" was co-sponsored by Cerruti allowing him to use luxurious tailoring fabrics from Lanifico Fratelli Cerruti Italy. He also received the Colin Barnes Award for fashion illustration from Central St Martin's, a nomination in the Chartered Society of Designers Fashion Awards held in the British Natural History Museum, and participated in the ‘Fashion in Motion exhibition exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum from which his works were featured in the BBC News. In 2002 he was interviewed by John Galliano for the House of Christian Dior, and has also assisted for Clements Ribeiro and Cacharel. In 2002 he was scouted from college by Mohammed Al Fayed owner of Harrods Department store, he accepted a designer post and helped established a lifestyle brand in Harrods, London.

Busardi is a Thai semi-couture fashion brand founded in 2009 by Busardi Muntarbhorn and her son, Tuck Muntarbhorn. Busardi is Thailand’s first brand to show at Paris Haute Couture Week.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Museum of Spirits</span>

The Museum of Spirits is situated on the island of Djurgården in Stockholm, Sweden. The museum was about Sweden's wine and spirit history and the manufacture of alcohol. In the fixed exhibitions, showed older production and bottling equipment for wine and spirits, labels from older wine and spirits in Sweden, an exhibition about Swedish drinking habits and beverage visor, objects from ancient wine history and a complete interior design from a wine trade from the time before Systembolaget monopoly. The museum has permanent and temporary exhibitions related to the drinking culture of Sweden. The museum also functions as an art gallery, as it houses and displays the Absolut Art Collection.
