George Darko is a Ghanaian burger-highlife musician, guitarist, vocalist, composer and songwriter, who has been on the music scene since the late 1960s. Darko was popular in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, and his songs are some of the most timeless and enduring highlife tracks in Ghana's music circles. Some of his contemporaries include Ben Brako, C.K. Mann, Daddy Lumba, Ernest Nana Acheampong, Nana Kwame Ampadu, Pat Thomas, among others. He is widely considered to be one of the pioneers of burger-highlife with his first hit "Ako Te Brofo" which was released in 1983. The song remains popular among Ghanaians both at home and abroad, and is still played at funerals and parties.
Daddy Lumba is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter and musician and has about 34 albums to his name. Lumba was born Charles Kwadwo Fosuh in a village called Nsuta Amangoase in the Sekyere Central District, near Mampong in the Ashanti Region. He is widely regarded as the greatest Ghanaian musician of all time.

He introduced Jama (kpanlogo) into Hiplife, which became laudable and was accepted in Ghana, Africa and the rest of the World. In 2003, Jay Q won an award for Best Sound Engineer in Ghana.
Nicholas Yaw Boafo Adade (1927–2013) was a former supreme court judge and Attorney General of the Republic of Ghana. He was the Attorney General of Ghana between 14 April 1969 to 1970 in the Busia government. He was also Member of Parliament for Asante Akim South constituency in the 2nd Ghanaian Republic.
Kojo Antwi, also known as "Mr. Music Man", is a Ghanaian Afro pop, highlife, reggae musical artist and a former Ghamro chairman. Born Julius Kojo Antwi into a family of 13 siblings, he grew up in Darkuman a suburb of Accra. He has 22 albums to his name, with "Tom & Jerry" became one of his most popular songs in West Africa Ghana.
"Ye Nea Woho Beto Wo", popularly known as "Yentie Obiaa", is a controversial song by Ghanaian highlife musician Daddy Lumba, from his 2014 album Awosoo.

Nana Kwame Ampadu was a Ghanaian musician and composer credited with numerous popular highlife tracks and he is known to have composed over 800 songs. He was also known as Adwomtofo Nyinaa Hene. Ampadu was the lead singer, chief songwriter, and founder of the "African Brothers Band". He is regarded as a pioneer of highlife music and one of the most illustrious Ghanaian musicians of the 20th century.

Emmanuel Mallet popularly known as Zapp Mallet is a veteran Ghanaian recording engineer and a record producer. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of the hiplife genre that started in the early 1990s in Ghana. He is also recognized as the only recording engineer to have won the Ghana Music Awards on three consecutive occasions; 1999, 2000, 2001.
Kwaku Agyapong Danemah popularly known as Dr. Paa Bobo was a Ghanaian highlife musician, known as highlife music legend. He is also known for the popular and nationwide hit song Osobro kyee. In January 2020, Stonebwoy with his Bhim Band remixed Osobro kyee titled Sobolo.
Osei Assibey Antwi is a Ghanaian administrator and politician who is a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He is currently the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) doubling as the Mayor of Kumasi.
Jackline Acheampong, known professionally as Gyakie, aka Song Bird is a Ghanaian R&B and afro-fusion singer. In 2019, Gyakie released her first single titled "Love is Pretty", which paved the way for another single, "Never Like This". In August 2020, the "Forever" song from her five-track EP "Seed" was her claim to fame, enjoying airplay and leading charts in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. Gyakie's father is Nana Acheampong.
Robert Addo Sowah is a Ghanaian professional footballer who last played as a defender for Ghanaian Premier league side Accra Hearts of Oak.
Oheneba Kissi is a Ghanaian highlife musician, songwriter, and performer. He has been a prominent figure in the Ghanaian music industry for over three decades.
