The University of California (UC) is a public land-grant research university system in the U.S. state of California. Daniel Stokols is Research Professor and Chancellor's Professor Emeritus of Social Ecology in the Departments of Psychology and Social Behavior and Planning,Policy,and Design,and founding dean of the School of Social Ecology at the University of California,Irvine. Alyson K. Zalta,Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist who specializes in treatments for traumatic stress for vulnerable groups,such as youth experiencing homelessness and veterans. She is an associate professor of Psychology and the lead investigator of the Trauma and Resilience Lab at the University of California,Irvine.
