Fear of a Punk Planet is the third album by the southern California punk rock band The Vandals, originally released in 1990 by Triple X Records. It was their first album to include the lineup of Dave Quackenbush, Warren Fitzgerald, Joe Escalante and Josh Freese, solidifying the band's roster after several years of fluctuation. This lineup would remain intact for the rest of the band's career, and for this reason Fear of a Punk Planet is considered by many fans to be the first proper album by the "new" Vandals. The album returned the band to their punk rock sound, after having played mostly in a country style on their previous album Slippery When Ill. The band would stick to a punk rock formula throughout the rest of their career. The album's title called to mind the rap album Fear of a Black Planet by Public Enemy, released that same year. It featured guest appearances by Dweezil and Moon Unit Zappa, Scott Thunes and Kelsey Grammer. An independent music video was filmed for the album's first track, "Pizza Tran."
Sweatin' to the Oldies is a live album and video by the southern California punk rock band The Vandals, originally released in 1994 by Triple X Records. It consists of a live concert recorded at the Ice House in Fullerton, California, as well as interviews with the band members and an overview of their history. The original version was released both on CD and VHS. With most of their back catalogue out of print, the album and video were seen as a retrospective of the band's past, as performed by its most recent stable lineup.

Frenzal Rhomb are an Australian punk rock band that formed in 1992 in Sydney. Three of the group's albums have entered the top 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart: A Man's Not a Camel (1999), Hi-Vis High Tea (2017) and Smoko at the Pet Food Factory (2011). Hi-Vis High Tea reached 9th position in the charts. The group has supported Australian tours by The Offspring, Bad Religion, NOFX, and Blink-182. Frenzal Rhomb have also toured in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, South Africa, Israel and Taiwan. The band has undergone several line-up changes, with lead vocalist Jason Whalley serving as the band's sole constant member.
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are a punk rock supergroup and cover band that formed in San Francisco in 1995. The band's lineup consists of Spike Slawson, Fat Mike, Joey Cape, and Dave Raun. Chris Shiflett is a former member.
Lindsay McAllister M "The Doctor" McDougall is an Australian rock guitarist and radio presenter. Since 1996, he has been the lead guitarist in punk rock band, Frenzal Rhomb alongside lead singer Jay Whalley. He has co-written songs with fellow band members including their highest charting single, "You Are Not My Friend". During 2003 McDougall organised Rock Against Howard, a compilation album, by various Australian musicians as a protest against incumbent Prime Minister, John Howard's government. It was released in August 2004, before the October federal election; Howard's coalition was nonetheless re-elected. In 2005, with Whalley, he co-hosted the Breakfast Show on national youth radio network Triple J, as Jay and the Doctor. In 2008, after Whalley left, he worked with Robbie Buck and Marieke Hardy. From 2010 to late 2014, he hosted the afternoon drive time programme. Since January 2018, McDougall has fronted the afternoon drive show on the ABC's local radio station in Wollongong, 97.3 ABC Illawarra. He is an animal rights activist and a vegan.

Godnose are an Australian metalcore band from Brisbane, which formed as a three-piece in 1995 by founding mainstay Ben Jones on guitar, lead vocals, trumpet and percussion. By 2004 they were a four-piece and his fellow members were Lindsay Beasley on drums, Greg on bass guitar and backing vocals and Claire Obst on lead vocals. The group toured Europe twice by 2007.
Karl Matthew Alvarez is an American bassist and songwriter for both the Descendents and All, the band that resulted after the Descendents disbanded again in 1987. Alvarez joined the Descendents after the Enjoy! album from his previous bands The Massacre Guys and Bad Yodelers, and played on all of the All albums, and the Descendents albums All, Everything Sucks, Cool To Be You and Hypercaffium Spazzinate. He plays finger style bass and provides backing vocals when live. Since joining the band he has been a major songwriter contributing many songs to All, Everything Sucks and Cool To Be You. In the summer of 2006 he joined Gypsy Punk band Gogol Bordello for part of the Van's Warped Tour and the Reading and Leeds Festivals. Alvarez currently plays guitar and sings in Endless Monster and the Vultures.
Self Righteous Brothers is the mainly acoustic, alternative rock music, side-project of Australian punk rockers, Frenzal Rhomb's lead singer Jason Whalley and guitarist, Lindsay McDougall which formed in 2004. Inspired by American band, the Frogs, their music is humorous and often explicit. They released an album, Love Songs for the Wrong at Heart, in 2004 and was re-released in March 2005 via Shock Records.

The Tenants are an Australian pub rock band from Bathurst, New South Wales, which formed in 1998. The band won a regional final for Triple J Unearthed in 1998 with the song, "You Shit Me to Tears", which was listed at No. 3 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 1999 radio listeners' poll. They issued one full length album, Everything You Know Is Wrong.
Scenestar was a not-for-profit organisation promoting underage events in Melbourne, Australia between 1995 and 1997. The organisation was run by teenagers Aaron Shipperlee and Pheona Donohoe, assisted by a team of volunteers at shows. Scenestar organised events at the Corner Hotel and Central Club Hotel in Richmond.

Fuzigish is a South african ska punk band from Gauteng, South Africa, established in 1997. They are noted for their high energy performances and have released five full-length albums and one compilation since their inception. The band retain a strong DIY ethos, having released all their albums independently through their own Red Ambulance record label, as well as setting up Punk Safari, their own touring company.
The PooPoo PeePee Tour was a concert tour by rock band Blink-182, Launched in support of the group's 1997 album Dude Ranch, the tour visited clubs and theaters in the summer/fall of 1998. It was the first major tour with drummer Travis Barker, who replaced original drummer Scott Raynor midway through a summer tour. Supporting acts included Unwritten Law and Home Grown. On October 1, 1998, the tour merged for one night only with the ongoing Reel Big Fish, Spring Heeled Jack and Frenzal Rhomb tour at the Hunka Bunka Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey.
Totally Unicorn is an Australian metal band originally from Wollongong, New South Wales. Forming in 2010, the band are best known for their highly energetic and unpredictable live shows, which often feature partial or complete nudity, jumping off the stage or other raised platforms and interacting with individual audience members. Hi-Vis High Tea is the ninth studio album by Australian punk band Frenzal Rhomb. It was recorded in Colorado, USA, with Bill Stevenson as producer and was released in May 2017. It was nominated at the 2017 ARIA Music Awards for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album, but lost to Northlane's Mesmer.
