Krishnaji Rao (Kgf Thatha), Prashanth Siddi, Cockroach Sudhi, Girish Shivanna, Apoorva and Ananthu Padmanabha are the main cast in the film. This was the last film of Krishnaji Rao who died in December 2022. [4] [5]

The music of the film is scored by Akash Parva. [6]

Plot

Narayanappa (Krishnoji Rao), an elderly man, prefers his wife Ningi to himself. He works hard and gets a Nano car, which he enjoys driving around with his wife. When his wife Ningi develops a neurological ailment, the plot takes a turn. Narayanappa had to provide for lakhs of rupees in medical expenses. However, Narayanappa, a junior artist in the film industry, manages to make a fortune in his old age by bursting a racket. [7] [8]

Samskara won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film (1970).

He made his debut with the 2014 Kannada film, Ugramm and later directed the two-part film series: K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018), K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022), which became the highest-grossing Kannada film, and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023), his first and only Telugu film.
