Honky Tonk Angel is the third studio album by American country music artist Patty Loveless. With five tracks from the album charting in the Billboard Top Ten Country Singles, including two at #1, it served as a breakthrough album for Loveless. The album itself was Loveless' highest charting at #7 on the Country Albums category. The two #1 singles were "Chains" and "Timber, I'm Falling in Love". Loveless also did a cover of the Lone Justice song, "Don't Toss Us Away", which featured Rodney Crowell on backing vocals. The song charted at #5. Famed songwriter Kostas had a major role by writing three of the album's tunes, including "Timber, I'm Falling in Love" and "The Lonely Side of Love", which peaked at #6.

It was released in 1997 on Arista Nashville, and it chronicles the greatest hits from their first four studio albums: 1991's Brand New Man, 1993's Hard Workin' Man, 1994's Waitin' on Sundown, and 1996's Borderline. The album also includes three new tracks, two of which were released as singles: "Honky Tonk Truth" and "He's Got You", which respectively reached #3 and #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. In 2004, a sequel, The Greatest Hits Collection II, was released; while the CD version is currently out of print, digital and streaming services carry it in their library.

Originally known as a Beach music band named Stax of Gold, and later Nantucket Sleighride, the six-member group—Tommy Redd, Larry Uzzell, Mike Uzzell, Eddie Blair, Kenny Soule, and Mark Downing—first became successful in their home state of North Carolina as a cover band.

The album is a tribute to AC/DC lead singer Bon Scott, who died in 1980 and features a version of their 1975 classic "It's a Long Way to the Top ". This move landed Nantucket a spot with AC/DC on their Back in Black tour for the entire summer. Other popular songs on the album include "Time Bomb", "Rugburn" and "Turn The Radio On". No Direction Home is the fourth release by North Carolina music group, Nantucket. Richard Gates and David "Thumbs" Johnson replaced drummer Kenny Soule and bassist Pee Wee Watson for this album, who both left the band in 1981 and joined guitarist Michael Gardner to form rock trio PKM. Featured singles include "Tennessee Whiskey," a version of the Bryan Adams song "Hiding From Love" and a version of the Marvin Gaye #1 hit classic "Ain't That Particular".

There were twenty songs on the original 1995 album, including a new studio release, but only sixteen songs are on the latest re-release by the band's own label Zella Records.

Released in 1993, it features the singles "Honky Tonk Attitude", "Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox ", "John Deere Green", and "In My Own Backyard", which respectively reached #5, #3, #5, and #19 on the Hot Country Songs charts. The song "If I Had Any Pride Left at All" was later recorded by John Berry on his 1995 album Standing on the Edge, from which it was released as a single.

The Luckiest Man in the World is the ninth studio album recorded by American country music artist Neal McCoy. It was scheduled to be released in January 2003 on Warner Bros. Records, but was never released. The album's only single, which was the title track, peaked at #46 on the Billboard country charts in 2002. "Put Your Best Dress On" was later released by Steve Holy in 2004, whose version went to #26 on the same chart.
This One's Gonna Hurt You is the sixth studio album by country music artist Marty Stuart, released on July 7, 1992 by MCA Nashville. It peaked at #12 on the Top Country Albums chart, and #6 on the Canadian albums chart. Four singles were released from it, "This One's Gonna Hurt You ", "Now That's Country", "High on a Mountain Top" and "Hey Baby". The album was certified Gold by the RIAA in the United States, and was certified Platinum in Canada. "Honky Tonk Crowd" was later released as a single by Rick Trevino from his self-titled album.
