Nascimento is an album by Brazilian musician Milton Nascimento, released through Warner Bros. Records in 1997. [1] In 1998, the album earned Milton Nascimento the Grammy Award for Best World Music Album. [2]

Fábio José de Melo Silva, better known as Padre (Father) Fábio de Melo, is a Catholic priest, artist, writer, university professor and presenter. He belonged to the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He acts in the Diocese of Taubaté, in the interior of the State of São Paulo. As a singer, he recorded eight albums for the Paulinas-COMEP Catholic record label, one for the record company Canção Nova, an independent project. Čao Laru is a French-Brazilian band formed in 2015 in Rennes, France. They mix up elements of many musical styles and are considered a "traveling" or "nomad" group, since they are constantly traveling in their Kombi in order to tour.

Miss Brazil World 2011 was the 22nd edition of the Miss Brazil World pageant and 6th under MMB Productions & Events. The contest took place on August 13, 2011. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions competed for the title. Kamilla Salgado of Pará crowned Juceila Bueno of Rio Grande do Sul at the end of the contest. Bueno represented Brazil at Miss World 2011. The contest was held at the Hotel do Frade in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Miss Brazil World 2007 was the 18th edition of the Miss Brazil World pageant and 2nd under MMB Productions & Events. The contest took place on September 22, 2007. Each state, the Federal District and Fernando de Noronha competed for the title. Jane Borges of Goiânia, Goiás crowned Regiane Andrade of Santa Catarina at the end of the contest. Andrade represented Brazil at Miss World 2007. The contest was held at the Barueri Municipal Theatre in Barueri, São Paulo, Brazil.

<i>Geraes</i> 1976 studio album by Milton Nascimento

Geraes is a 1976 album by Brazilian singer, guitarist, and composer Milton Nascimento. The album played a strong role in connecting Milton Nascimento's music with the American public, at the time he was already known worldwide. It features Mercedes Sosa in "Volver A Los 17", Chico Buarque in "O Que Será ", Clementina de Jesus in "Circo Marimbondo", and the Chileans from Grupo Agua, discovered by Milton, in the tracks "Caldera", "Promessas do Sol", and "Minas Geraes", the closing track. The cover, by Cafi shows the same drawing of the Três Pontas Mountains and the train shown in the previous album insert "Minas" (1975) that now stands out in the Geraes cover and the vinyl insert with envelope paper. In the 1994 CD reissue, it has two tracks from a compact disc Milton made with Chico Buarque in 1977 for the Philips label with the tracks "Primeiro de Maio" and "Cio da Terra", which was re-recorded by Pena Branca & Xavantinho, Sérgio Reis and Mercedes Sosa herself.
