Natashia Williams-Blach is an American actress known for appearing in TV shows like The Vampire Diaries [1] and She Spies .

Biography

Natashia Williams began her film and television career at the age of 16, appearing first on Saved by the Bell: The New Class . After graduating high school, she would go on to accept a scholarship to attend the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). [2] While juggling studies and acting work, she gave her account of race relations on campus, and navigating as a biracial of dual Afro-European heritage. [3] Shortly thereafter she landed her first movie role in Def Jam's How to Be a Player . In between filming and pilot seasons, she began modeling with the Ford Agency, [4] [5] and appeared in the ad campaigns of Wondebra, Old Navy, Hanes and Skechers [6] [7] as well as other national brand commercials. [8]

While still modeling, Williams appeared in both movies and television shows such as Son of the Beach , Smart Guy , Malcolm and Eddie, The Parkers, Girlfriends and the film Two Can Play That Game.

Williams first starring role on a series occurred on the show So Little Time alongside the Olsen Twins. Shortly after, Williams co-starred in She Spies [9] with Kristen Miller and Natasha Henstridge. Although purchased for syndication, it lasted two seasons due to declining ratings. [10]

She then starred alongside Romeo Miller in the series Romeo! on Nickelodeon, playing Angeline Miller for the last two seasons.

In 2006, she then booked the pilot, Filthy Gorgeous, about the New York sub world of high-class escorts, also staring Isabella Rossellini. The pilot was not picked up although the single episode aired on Showtime Networks as a feature film. She also filmed a cameo appearance in the Anna Faris comedy Smiley Face [11] .

Following guest-star stints on both CSI Miami and CSI New York [12] , she auditioned for season 7 of American Idol , succeeding through to the Top 25 before being eliminated. [13]

Williams then stars in the Paramount Pictures psychological thriller, Circle of Eight , and also had a minor recurring role on The Vampire Diaries . [14]

In 2013, Williams also wrote a book based on her life and career, Mind Over Model, An Internal Journey Through The World Of Externals. [15] The following year she started Gypsy Posh By TOSH, an artisan crafted jewelry line, as both owner and designer. [16] [17]

She wrote and performs on the eleventh track: "Shady," from the second solo studio album Digital Bullet by RZA going by the pseudonym Bobby Digital, alongside the music group Intrigue.

Natashia has been married to Brevin Blach [18] since December 2006; they have two children. [19]

The Vampire Diaries, an American supernatural drama, was officially renewed by The CW for a full 22-episode season on February 16, 2010. The first episode premiered on September 9, 2010, at 8 p.m. ET. The season picks up immediately after the events of the season one finale. All the series regulars returned. The second season focuses on the return of Elena Gilbert's doppelgänger, Katherine Pierce, the introduction of werewolves, the sun and moon curse, and the arrival of the original vampires. Tyler Lockwood's uncle, Mason Lockwood, arrives in town searching for the moonstone, a family heirloom. Tyler later learns of his family's werewolf curse. Meanwhile, Caroline Forbes is killed by Katherine while having Damon Salvatore's blood in her system, turning her into a vampire. The arrival of the original vampires, Elijah and Klaus Mikaelson, also bring about complications. Klaus is a vampire-werewolf hybrid, but his werewolf side had been forced into dormancy by witches, as nature would not stand for such an imbalance in power. Therefore, Klaus arrives in town with plans to break the curse and unleash his werewolf side by channelling the power of the full moon into the moonstone, sacrificing a vampire and a werewolf, and drinking the blood of the doppelgänger. It became available on DVD and Blu-ray on August 30, 2011.

<i>Americas Next Top Model</i> season 18 Season of television series

The eighteenth cycle of America's Next Top Model premiered on February 29, 2012 and was the twelfth season to air on The CW. It occupied the time slot of the final two scheduled episodes of Remodeled. This was the first American edition of Top Model to be filmed and broadcast in high definition (HD).
