Nathan Grant Hales (born 16 June 1996) [1] is a British sport shooter.

He was born in Kent. He participated at the 2019 World Shotgun Championships, where he won team bronze in the trap. [2]

At the 2022 World Shotgun Championships, Hales earned a quota place for the 2024 Olympic Games when he won silver in the Individual Men's Trap. He also won silver in the Mixed Pairs Trap with Lucy Hall and Senior Men's Team gold with Matthew Coward-Holley and Aaron Heading. [3]

In 2023, he won the Men's Trap event at the Lonato leg of the ISSF World Cup series, where he broke the world record. [4] This qualified him for the World Cup final in Doha, where he won bronze. [5]

Hales won gold in the men's trap at the 2024 Summer Olympics, scoring 48 out of 50 to set a new Olympic record. [6] [7]

The ISSF World Cup was introduced by the International Shooting Sport Federation in 1986 to provide a homogeneous system for qualification to the Olympic shooting competitions. Charlotte Hollands is a British sports shooter. She won her first Commonwealth Gold medal at the age of 15 at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. In 2015 World Championship, she was part of the British team that won gold in the team trap event.

Khaled Al-Mudhaf is a Kuwaiti sport shooter. He captured the men's trap title at the 2002 ISSF World Championships in Lahti, Finland, and finished in the top six respectively on two successive editions of the Olympic Games. Apart from his World championship title, Al-Mudhaf also collected fourteen more medals to his career record, including two from the Asian Games. Al-Mudhaf is a member of the Kuwait City Shooting Club, where he trains full-time under Russian-born coach Rustam Yambulatov.

Timothy Kneale is a Manx sport shooter who specializes in the double trap. He is the current world record holder for the event, having scored 148 out of 150 at the 2014 ISSF World Cup meet in Munich, Germany. Apart from his world-record feat, Kneale has won two medals in a major international competition, a silver at the 2015 World Shotgun Championships and a bronze as a representative of the Isle of Man team at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India.

Amber Jo Rutter OLY is an English sport shooter who specialises in skeet. She has won a total of three gold medals in a major international competition, spanning the ISSF World Cup series, and the inaugural European Games held in Baku, Azerbaijan. She also finished with a silver medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the women's skeet event. A member of the GB team, Hill trains with her personal coach Joe Neville at E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground in Wycombe. Since her withdrawal from the 2020 Olympics, she has been active in promoting mental health in sport.

Mairaj Ahmed Khan is an Indian skeet shooter and two-time Olympian. Khan was the first Indian skeet shooter to qualify for the Olympics when he qualified for the Rio Olympics in 2015; he also competed in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. He has won gold at the ISSF World Shooting Championships, the Commonwealth Shooting Championships, and the Asian Shooting Championships. In 2021, Sportstar reported that Khan was ranked #24 in the world in skeet.

Seonaid McIntosh is a British sports shooter who became the World Champion at the 2018 ISSF World Shooting Championships in the 50m Prone Rifle event. In 2019 she became Britain's most successful female rifle shooter of all time, winning five World Cup medals. She also became the first British Woman to rank World #1 for the 50m Rifle Three Position event and became European Champion in the 300m Rifle Prone event with an equal World Record score.

The men's ISSF Olympic trap event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place on 28 and 29 July 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range. Approximately 30 sport shooters from 20 nations are expected to compete in the trap, with the precise number depending on how many shooters compete in multiple events.

As of 2024, she is the 9th ranked women's trap shooter in the world. Kumari is a co-founder of Saurab Rajeshwari, a luxury Indian clothing and embroidery brand founded in 2021.

Austen Jewell Smith is an American sports shooter and Olympian. She holds a silver and bronze medal in skeet from the 2024 Paris Olympics, alongside a gold medal from the 2021 ISSF World Cup Shotgun held in Lonato, Italy.
