Nathan Cesar Sodario Torquato [lower-alpha 1] (born 9 January 2001) [1] is a Brazilian para taekwondo practitioner. He won the gold medal in the men's 61 kg event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan. [2] [3] In the final, his opponent Mohamed El-Zayat of Egypt was unable to compete due to injury and, as a result, Torquato was awarded the gold medal. [3]

In 2019, he won the gold medal in the men's 61 kg event at the Parapan American Games held in Lima, Peru. [4]

Maguire competed in the 4 × 400 metres relay T53/T54 at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, and competed in the 400 metres T54, 800 metres T54 and mixed 4 × 100 metres relay events at the delayed 2020 Summer Paralympics.
