The National Capital Region Football Association, also known as the NCR Football Association or NCRFA, is a Filipino football association based in Metro Manila. It works under the Philippine Football Federation as regional football association for Metro Manila.
Metropolitan Manila, formally the National Capital Region and commonly called Metro Manila, is the capital region and largest metropolitan area of the Philippines. The region is located on the eastern shore of Manila Bay, between the Central Luzon and Calabarzon regions. It consists of 16 highly urbanized cities: the City of Manila, Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon City, San Juan, Taguig, and Valenzuela, and one municipality: Pateros. The region encompasses an area of 619.57 square kilometers (239.22 sq mi) and a population of 13,484,462 as of 2020. It is the second most populous and the most densely populated region in the Philippines. It is also the 9th most populous metropolitan area in Asia and the 6th most populous urban area in the world.
Manila, officially the City of Manila, is the capital and second-most populous city of the Philippines. Located on the eastern shore of Manila Bay on the island of Luzon, it is classified as a highly urbanized city. As of 2019, it is the world's most densely populated city proper. It was the first chartered city in the country, and was designated as such by the Philippine Commission Act No. 183 on July 31, 1901. It became autonomous with the passage of Republic Act No. 409, "The Revised Charter of the City of Manila", on June 18, 1949. Manila is considered to be part of the world's original set of global cities because its commercial networks were the first to extend across the Pacific Ocean and connect Asia with the Spanish Americas through the galleon trade; when this was accomplished, it was the first time an uninterrupted chain of trade routes circling the planet had been established. Manila is among the most-populous and fastest-growing cities in Southeast Asia.

Skycity is an 80-story unfinished skyscraper in Mandaluyong, Philippines. It is a joint venture between real estate developer E. Ganzon Inc. (EGI) and Sam Buena Realty Corporation. Its estimated height is 335 metres (1,099 ft). If constructed, it will become the tallest building in the country. Skycity is planned as a mixed-used skyscraper with a hotel, office space and residential space.

It is not yet a regular member of the Philippine Football Federation.

Laos Football Club was a professional Filipino association football club based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. The team successfully campaigned in the 2017 Weekend Football League, and previously in the United Football League, the highest level of club football in the Philippines at the time. South Avenue is a short extension of Ayala Avenue north of Metropolitan Avenue in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It forms the border between the Manila South Cemetery to the east and Barangay Santa Cruz to the west, running for 805 meters (2,641 ft) in a southwest–northeast direction from its southern terminus at Metropolitan Avenue to its intersection with J.P. Rizal Avenue in Barangay Olympia. Since 2017, it carries one-way northbound traffic, implemented as an effort to decongest traffic in and out of the Makati Central Business District. It has a short extension into Barangay Olympia and Circuit Makati as Taliba Street. It is also the location of the Ecoville Townhouses and F. Benitez Elementary School.
The Metro Manila Subway, formerly known as the Mega Manila Subway (MMS), is an under-construction underground rapid transit line in Metro Manila, Philippines. The 36-kilometer (22 mi) line, which will run north–south between Valenzuela, Quezon City, Pasig, Taguig, Parañaque and Pasay, consists of 15 stations between the East Valenzuela and Bicutan stations. It will become the country's second direct airport rail link after the North–South Commuter Railway, with a branch line to Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
The Summer Metro Manila Film Festival is film festival intended to be held annually in Metro Manila, Philippines. The event is a spin-off of the Metro Manila Film Festival which is officially held every December. Metro Manila is the worst affected region in the Philippines, where most cases in the country are recorded. A state of calamity and community quarantine was declared in the region on March 15.
