National Product is a little-known rock band from Oahu, Hawaii.

History

National Product began playing local gigs while attending Kalaheo High School, and moved to California in 2000. [1] Soon afterwards, most of the members left lead singer Danny Casler in California. In California, they reformed with same lineup and added lead guitarist Jeffrey Feuerhaken. 2003. [1]

In 2005, they contributed a remake of the song "Disarm" to the obscure Smashing Pumpkins tribute album, Shot Full of Diamonds. [2] They played the Warped Tour in 2005 as well as 2006. [1] [3]

In 2007, the group signed with R&M Artist Records, run by Mark Mazzetti (formerly of A&M Records) and Randy Delano, who signed the band as their "flagship group." [4] National Product was the only group (alongside four solo artists) signed to R&M Records, which went under later that year. [5]

National Product toured Canada with Saosin, Poison the Well, [6] Panic Division, and Flight 409, during which tour they survived a fiery van crash. [7] [8]

Their album Luna was released on August 7, 2007, produced by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Dashboard Confessional, Paramore). [4] The lead single from the album was "Love Me." They produced a music video for their song "By All Means". [9]

The album was a commercial and critical flop. Writing for Allmusic, music critic Stewart Mason noted lead singer Danny Casler's "anonymous voice" and "rote lyrics," calling the band "unimaginative," "inert" and "deathly boring." He concluded the 2.5/5 star review by calling the album "so terminally bland that it's not even possible to dislike it with enthusiasm." [10]

Departure of Dan Niles

"We the members of NP regret to inform you that Dan Niles "The Danimal" (keyboards/acoustic guitar/rad dude) has decided to part ways with the band. We are all very saddened by his departure, but he has built a great name for himself as a graphics designer and has chosen to continue down that path in his life. We all wish him the best of luck in his career and we'll all miss him greatly. Below you will find comments from each one of us on his departure. As always if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, but if you are just looking for dirt don't bother, there is none. National Product will continue full steam ahead and we've decided to remain a 5 piece for the time being. If you are a dedicated musician and think you have something to add to this project, please let us know and if we ever decide to explore having another member we may hit you up. Thank you all for your continued support" [11] National Product was unsuccessful in each of its future projects, and went on permanent hiatus.

Casler once performed guest vocals for punk rock band Pennywise.

Saosin American rock band

Saosin is an American rock band formed in Orange County, California in 2003, originally formed by Beau Burchell, Justin Shekoski, Zach Kennedy, and Anthony Green. The band released their first EP, Translating the Name in 2003. That same year original vocalist Anthony Green left Saosin due to personal reasons. In 2004, Cove Reber replaced Green as vocalist after auditioning for the role. With Reber the group recorded its self titled debut album which was released on Capitol Records on September 26, 2006. Their second studio album, In Search of Solid Ground, was released on September 8, 2009 on Virgin Records and contains three re-recorded tracks from The Grey EP. In 2010, Reber was dismissed from the band. In 2013, the band reformed with all original members, except Zach, and began touring. They released Along the Shadow, their third studio album and first studio album with original vocalist Anthony Green, on May 20, 2016 through Epitaph Records.

Kathleen Emperatriz DeLuna is an American singer, songwriter and dancer. DeLuna began pursuing a career as a singer when she was a teenager. After signing with Epic Records, she released her debut single "Whine Up" in 2007. The single went on to become a commercial success, entering the Top 40 in numerous countries and topping the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Her debut studio album, 9 Lives (2007), failed to see the success of its lead single. The album's third single, "Run the Show", became a hit in various territories, and reached number two on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.

Miss May I American metalcore band

Miss May I is an American metalcore band from Troy, Ohio. Formed in 2007, they signed to Rise Records in 2008 and released their debut album, Apologies Are for the Weak through the label while the members were still attending high school. The album reached 76 on the Billboard 200, No. 29 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers, and No. 66 on Top Independent Albums. The band has also had some of their material featured in big name productions; the song "Forgive and Forget" is featured on the Saw VI Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, and their song "Apologies Are for the Weak" is included in the video game Saints Row: The Third.

Tilian Pearson American singer-songwriter

Tilian Pearson, also known mononymously as Tilian, is an American singer-songwriter, musician and record producer born in Clearwater, Florida. He is the clean vocalist for the post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance. Pearson began his music career as the lead vocalist and guitarist in the progressive rock band Tides of Man, releasing an extended play and two studio albums before leaving in 2010.
