The National University of Food Technologies is a Ukrainian university located in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Campus

The campus includes eight buildings. Building "A" hosts the University administration section, Assembly Hall, Academic Council Hall, Dean of Faculty, Departmental offices, Teaching offices, Classrooms and Laboratories. Building "B" hosts the University Entrance exam rooms, Department of Pre-University Education, Training rooms, Museum and classrooms. Buildings "C", "D", and "F" - each host departmental offices, teachers' offices, classrooms, and laboratories. Buildings "E" and "I" host University service centers: Human Resources, Accounting, Supplies Division, Chief Power Sources, the Department of Fire Safety and more.[ citation needed ]

Institutes and faculties

The National University of Food Technology consists of 21 faculties (including eight via correspondence or satellite campuses) which are located in the following regions of Ukraine: Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Lutsk, Kerch, Lviv, Poltava, Svaliava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Simferopol, Smila, Sumy, and Odesa.

Football Club Arsenal Kyiv is a Ukrainian football club based in Kyiv. In 2019, the club's professional team was dissolved, but its junior teams continue to compete in city competitions. The club claims to be a successor of Kyiv Arsenal factory team which traces its history back to 1925. The original factory team used to compete in the Soviet Class B, but was relegated in 1964 and officially dissolved.

The Dovzhenko Film Studios is a former Soviet film production studio in Ukraine that was named after the Soviet film producer, Oleksandr Dovzhenko, in 1957. With the fall of the Soviet Union, the studio became a property of the government of Ukraine. In 2000, the film studio was awarded national status.

The Kyiv Seven, also referred to as the Magnificent Seven, and the Kyiv Clan were two interrelated economic and political groups in Ukraine during the 1990s and early 2000s. The term "Kyiv Seven" refers to a group of Ukrainian oligarchs who wielded significant financial and political power in Ukraine during the late 1980s and 1990s. As the name suggests, it comprised seven members: Viktor Medvedchuk, Valentyn Zghursky, Hryhoriy and Ihor Surkis, Bohdan Hubskyi, Yuriy Karpenko, and Yuriy Liakh. The term "Kyiv Clan" more broadly refers to the groups which operated under the Seven's leadership. These groups were one of three large political clans in Ukraine during the presidency of Leonid Kuchma, alongside Kuchma's own Dnipropetrovsk Clan and the Donetsk Clan of Rinat Akhmetov and Viktor Yanukovych, among others.
