Naveen Krishna is an Indian actor, director and writer based in Kannada Film Industry.[ citation needed ] After having starred in many films as a child actor, he made his adult debut in the film Shrirasthu Shubhamasthu (2000) and has since then acted in various films, mostly in supporting roles, in films such as Kadamba (2004), Nenapirali (2005), Dheemaku (2008) and Mathond Madhuvena (2011). His lead roles in the films, Haggada Kone (2014) and Actor (2016) won him several laurels and appreciations.
In 2013, Naveen announced that he would direct and script a film titled Lakshmi Bar which is yet to release. [1] He did the co-direction for the film Bidalare Endu Ninna (2013).
Naveen was born in Bangalore, Karnataka to actor Srinivasa Murthy and Pushpa. He has three siblings of whom his brother Nitil Krishna is also a film actor. He has changed his screen name twice before as Akshay Krishna and later S. S. Krishna to try his luck according to the numerology. [2] However he retained his original name after having found no satisfactory results.[ citation needed ]

Singanalluru Puttaswamaiah Muthuraj, better known by his stage name Dr. Rajkumar, was an Indian actor and singer who worked in Kannada cinema. Regarded as one of the greatest actors in the history of Indian cinema and a versatile actor, he is considered a cultural icon and holds a matinée idol status in the Kannada diaspora, among whom he is popularly called as Nata Saarvabhouma, Bangarada Manushya, Vara Nata, Gaana Gandharva, Rasikara Raja, Kannada Kanteerava and Rajanna/Annavru. He was honoured with Padma Bhushan in 1983 and Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1995. He is the only lead actor to win National Award for singing. His 39 movies have been remade 63 times in 9 languages by 34 actors making him the first actor whose movies were remade more than fifty times and the first actor whose movies were remade in nine languages. He was the first actor in India to enact a role which was based on James Bond in a full-fledged manner. The success of his movie Jedara Bale is credited to have widely inspired a Desi bond genre in other Indian film industries. On the occasion of the "Centenary of Indian Cinema" in April 2013, Forbes included his performance in Bangaarada Manushya on its list of "25 Greatest Acting Performances of Indian Cinema".
K.S. Sowmya, better known by her stage name Soundarya, was an Indian actress known for her works primarily in Telugu cinema in addition to Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam films. She has received three Nandi Awards, two Karnataka State Film Awards and six Filmfare Awards South. In 2002, she received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film as a producer for the Kannada film Dweepa.

Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, also known mononymously as Bharathi, is an Indian actress known primarily for her work in Kannada cinema and television serials. She began her career in 1966, as a lead actress, with the Kannada movie Love in Bangalore though Dudde Doddappa was her first release. In a career spanning over 50 years, Bharathi has appeared in 150 films. Apart from 100 films in Kannada, she has also acted in a handful of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films.
