Naveen Nazim (born 20 December 1994) is an Indian film actor who works predominantly in Malayalam. [1]

Early life

Naveen was born to Nazimuddeen and Begum Beena. He has a sister, Nazriya Nazim (actress). His family lived in Al Ain, UAE, before moving to Thiruvananthapuram. [3] He studied at Our Own English High School, Al Ain, UAE. He did an architectural course from The SCMS School of Architecture in Ernakulam and worked as an intern in Bengaluru. [4]

Film career

In 2019, he made his debut with the Malayalam film Ambili. [5] In 2020, he worked in C U Soon. [6]

Naiyaandi (transl. Satire) is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by A. Sarkunam. The film features Dhanush and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles. The plot focuses on a love story between a Kuthu Vilakku (lamp) shop owner and a BDS student. It was released on 11 October 2013. The film is an unofficial remake of the 1993 Malayalam film Meleparambil Anveedu and its 1995 Tamil remake Valli Vara Pora. It received negative reviews and became a flop at the box office.

The plot revolves around three cousins from Kerala who move to Bangalore, continuing Menon's trend of films about family relationships. The film released on 30 May 2014 in 205 theatres, making it one of the biggest release for a Malayalam film, simultaneously all over India and received positive reviews.

Ismail Fazil, better known by his stage name Farhaan Fazil, is an Indian actor working in Malayalam cinema. He debuted in 2014 with Njan Steve Lopez directed by Rajeev Ravi. He is the younger son of filmmaker Fazil and brother of actor Fahadh Faasil.

<i>Varane Avashyamund</i> 2020 Indian film

Varane Avashyamund is a 2020 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Anoop Sathyan, son of Sathyan Anthikad, in his debut. It was produced by Dulquer Salmaan. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Dulquer Salmaan, Shobana and Kalyani Priyadarshan. It has music by Alphons Joseph. It also marked the comeback film of Suresh Gopi after a five-year hiatus from acting; actress Shobana's Malayalam comeback after a 7-year absence as well as also Kalyani's Malayalam debut film. Principal photography began on 1 October 2019 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The film was released on 7 February 2020 to mostly positive reviews.
