Neelapu Rami Reddy (born 1 June 1965) is a former sprinter and national athletics champion from Andhra Pradesh, India. [1] [2] He dominated national competition for over a decade during the 1980s and the first half of the 1990s. After his retirement from competitive sports in 1994, he was made athletics chief coach by Southern Central Railways (SCR) and sprints coach of the Indian Railways. [3]

Rachita Panda Mistry is an Indian professional sprinter from Odisha. She held the 100 metres national record of 11.38 seconds set at the National Circuit Athletic Meet held in Thiruvananthapuram on 12 August 2000 for 13 years until it was bettered in 2013 by Merlin K. Joseph. Rachita set her personal best time of 11.26 s for 100 metres in Bangalore on 5 July 2001 and in the process she broke P. T. Usha's long standing mark of 11.39 s set during the 1985 Asian Championships in Athletics in Jakarta. However, following some controversies, the Amateur Athletic Federation of India (AAFI) did not ratify the national record on the ground that no dope tests had been carried out during the meet. AAIF, however, clarified that the performances of the athletes who set the National record during the 2000 National Circuit Meet would be allowed to stand as their personal bests.

Dezerea Bryant is an American sprinter who is most known for the 100m & 200m events. She is a National Champion (2019) in the 200m dash and competed at the 2019 World Championships in Doha placing 5th in the open 200m and earned a Bronze Medal in the Women's 4x100m Relay. She has also earned 17 NCAA Division 1 All-American honors and won the NCAA 200m championship in 2015 over The Bowerman Award Winner, Jenna Prandini. Bryant set a low-altitude collegiate record in 200 metres with 22.18.

H. M. Jyothi Indian sprinter

Hiriyur Manjunath Jyothi is an Indian sprinter. She competes in the 100 metres, 200 metres, and 4×100 metres relay categories. She is a national champion or former national champion in each of the three events, with personal best timings of 11.3, 23.42, and 43.42 seconds in the 100 metres, 200 metres, and 4×100 metres relay, respectively. Her personal best times in all three events were after her withdrawal from professional competition for three years to become a mother. A Canara Bank employee, Jyothi is married to the former sprinter S. Srinivas, who is also her personal coach. Despite wanting to win a medal at Asian games, she couldn’t continue sprint due to persistent achilles injury. She ended up her career in 2017 with a gold at the open nationals, Chennai.
