Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ is a former Jamaican cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001,captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He is a fast bowler and considered one of the all-time greats,best known for a remarkable opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years. Walsh played 132 Tests and 205 ODIs for the West Indies and took 519 and 227 wickets respectively. He shared 421 Test wickets with Ambrose in 49 matches. He held the record of most Test wickets from 2000,after he broke the record of Kapil Dev. This record was later broken in 2004 by Shane Warne. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket. His autobiography is entitled "Heart of the Lion". Walsh was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1987. In October 2010,he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He was appointed as the Specialist Bowling Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team in August 2016.
Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards is an Antiguan retired cricketer who represented the West Indies cricket team between 1974 and 1991. Batting generally at number three in a dominant West Indies side,Richards is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. Richards helped his team win the 1979 Cricket World Cup.
Sir Clive Hubert Lloyd,CM is a Guyanese-British former cricketer and captain of the West Indies cricket team. Lloyd is widely regarded as one of the greatest captains of all time. As a boy he went to Chatham High School in Georgetown. At the age of 14 he was captain of his school cricket team in the Chin Cup inter-school competition. One of his childhood memories is of sitting in a tree outside the ground overlooking the sightscreen watching Garry Sobers score two centuries for West Indies v Pakistan. Michael Anthony Holding is a Jamaican former cricketer and commentator who played for the West Indies cricket team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest pace bowlers in cricket history,he was nicknamed "Whispering Death" due to his silent,light-footed run up to the bowling crease. Holding was a key member of the West Indies team that won the 1979 Cricket World Cup,and had the most wickets for his team at the tournament. His bowling action was renowned for being smooth and extremely fast,and he used his height to generate large amounts of bounce and zip off the pitch. He was part of the fearsome West Indian pace bowling battery,together with Andy Roberts,Joel Garner,Colin Croft,Wayne Daniel,Malcolm Marshall and Sylvester Clarke,that devastated opposing batting line-ups throughout the world in the late seventies and early eighties. Early in his Test career,in 1976,Holding broke the record for best bowling figures in a Test match by a West Indies bowler,14 wickets for 149 runs (14/149). The record still stands. During his first-class cricket career,Holding played for Jamaica,Canterbury,Derbyshire,Lancashire,and Tasmania. In September 2021,Holding announced his retirement from being a commentator.
Sir Anderson Montgomery Everton Roberts,KCN is a former Antiguan first-class cricketer who is considered the father of modern West Indian fast bowling. Roberts played Test cricket for the West Indies,twice taking seven wickets in a Test innings,and was a member of the team that won both the 1975 Cricket World Cup and the 1979 Cricket World Cup respectively. Arriving in England in 1972,he played first-class cricket for Hampshire County Cricket Club and then later for Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
Carl Llewelyn Hooper is a former Guyanese cricketer who captained the West Indies in Tests and ODIs. An all-rounder,he was a right-handed batsman and off-spin bowler,who came to prominence in the late 1980s in a side that included such players as Gordon Greenidge,Desmond Haynes,Malcolm Marshall and Courtney Walsh and represented the West Indies over a 16-year international career.

Denesh Ramdin is a former Trinidadian cricketer who plays as a right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman. Ramdin formerly captained the West Indies,Guyana Amazon Warriors,Trinidad and Tobago and the Combined Campuses and Colleges. He was a member of the West Indies team that won both the 2012 T20 World Cup and the 2016 T20 World Cup.
The 2005–06 West Indian cricket season includes all domestic cricket matches played by senior teams with first-class status in the West Indies between October 2005 and March 2006,and also the international feats of the West Indies team,who is not scheduled to play any home games during this period but are to play home matches during April,May and June 2006. The season began on 2005-10-03 with the first matches of the one-day KFC Cup and is scheduled to last until 2006-03-19 when England A depart after their tour which will include one-day and first-class matches against the West Indies A team. Sunil Dhaniram is a former Canadian cricketer and a former captain of the national team,who played ODIs and T20Is. He formerly played for Guyana from 1993 to 1995. He made his Canadian debut on 2 October 2003 playing against the Windward Islands. He made his ODI debut for Canada on 16 May 2006 against Zimbabwe,and has played 44 ODIs in his career. He has also played for Canada in seven ICC Intercontinental Cup games,and represented them in the 2007 Cricket World Cup.

Kraigg Clairmonte Brathwaite is a Barbadian cricketer who captains the West Indies in Test cricket. He is a right-handed batsman and occasionally bowls off breaks. On 6 November 2011,he became only the second West Indian to score two Test fifties before his 19th birthday when he made 63 (212) against India in Delhi. In August 2019,Cricket West Indies named him as the Championship Player of the Year. Later the same month,he made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team. He also set the record for the heaviest cricketer to play Test cricket,weighing more than 140 kg. For the Leewards Islands,he is their second highest wicket-taker in both First Class and List A cricket,while only Kieran Powell has scored more than his four List A hundreds for the side.
Romario Shepherd is a Guyanese cricketer who plays for Guyana in domestic cricket and for West Indies in international cricket. He made his international debut for West Indies in November 2019.
