The Nevada Baptist Convention (NBC) is a group of churches affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention located in the U.S. state of Nevada. [1] Headquartered in Reno, Nevada, the convention is made up of 3 Baptist associations as of 2023. [2]

The church has several campuses in California and around the world. Weekly church attendance was 23,500 people in 2020. Its senior pastors are Andy Wood and Stacie Wood. It was part of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) from its founding until February 21, 2023, when the denomination's executive committee voted to disfellowship the church over its appointment of women with the title of pastor. On May 16, the Southern Baptist Convention announced that Saddleback was seeking an appeal to be reinstated in fellowship and at the 2023 Southern Baptist Convention on June 14, 2023, the Convention reaffirmed its decision to deem Saddleback not in "friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention." Rick Warren stated the Saddleback intends to remain affiliated with the California Baptist Convention and the Orange County Baptist association but will be unable to send messengers to the Baptist convention.
