Never Mind the Bombings, Here's Your Six Figures is the second release from American screamo band United Nations. The four-song EP was released on June 23, 2010, through Deathwish Inc. on both 7" vinyl and digital download versions. [5] The song "Pity Animal" was previously released in April 2010 on MMX, a free downloadable Deathwish sampler album. [6]

Prior to the release of United Nations' self-titled debut album in 2008, Never Mind the Bombings, Here's Your Six Figures was announced to be the group's second album and follow up to United Nations. The EP was expected to face copyright issues for sharing a similar name and cover art to Sex Pistols' 1977 studio album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols . [7] [8] The artwork for the EP was created by the Australian artist Ben Frost, [8] and designed by Converge vocalist Jacob Bannon. [9]

Deathwish established itself quickly, working with a diverse group of bands and eventually becoming one of the most respected and innovative labels in contemporary hardcore punk and aggressive music in general.

United Nations is a hardcore punk supergroup whose roots go back to at least 2005. Due to the nature of the band, it is unclear who exactly is a member of United Nations at any given time. Early promotional images of the band depicted four people wearing Ronald Reagan masks, and all original contributors were contractually obligated to remain anonymous. The only member not under contract at the time was Geoff Rickly of the band Thursday.

"On My Shield" is a single released by American metalcore band Converge. It was originally made available during the band's European tour in July 2010. The single was self-released by the band, though it was distributed by Converge's labels, Epitaph Records and Deathwish Inc. The physical release does not contain a label catalog number, however Deathwish lists the single as CONCULT01. The song was recorded and produced by guitarist Kurt Ballou at his own GodCity studio between the band's 2010 US and European tours in support of Axe to Fall.

Pianos Become the Teeth are an American band from Baltimore, Maryland, formed in 2006. Their early musical style was inspired by post-rock and early screamo acts, and they were a part of the post-hardcore music movement, also represented by Touché Amoré, La Dispute, Defeater, and Make Do and Mend. Harm's Way is an American hardcore punk band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2006. The band started as a side project, but ended up becoming a more serious and full-time band in their later years. Harm's Way has since released four studio albums: Reality Approaches (2009), Isolation (2011) and Rust (2015) and several EPs. On February 9, 2018, the band released their critically acclaimed Metal Blade Records debut, titled Posthuman.
