Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, commonly referred to as Hearts of Oak or just Hearts, is a professional sports club based in Accra, Ghana. Founded in 1911, the club is the oldest surviving football club in Ghana and its traditional colours are red, yellow and blue. Hearts of Oak competes in the Ghana Premier League, the premier division on the Ghanaian football pyramid. The Accra Sports Stadium is the club's home grounds, where it plays its home games.

Ejisu is a city in Greater Kumasi located along the Kumasi-Accra highway about 20 km from Kumasi. It is the capital of Ejisu Municipal Assembly, a municipality of the Ashanti Region, Ghana. This municipal is one of the 30 administrative and political Districts in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and it was established by Legislative Instrument (L.I) 1890. In 2020, the Nkosuohene of Ejisu was Nana Kofi Poku. In 2022, the Chief of Ejisu was Nana Afrane Okese. As at 2024. the Municipal Chief Executive of the town was Mr Samuel Oduro Frimpong.
Weija constituency is a precursor constituency which was demarcated into three new constituencies – Anyaa-Sowutuom, Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom, and Weija-Gbawe ahead of the Ghanaian 2012 general elections. It no longer has a representation in the Parliament of Ghana and does not elect a Member of Parliament (MP). The former Weija is located in the Ga West District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
Ga West Municipal District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Ga District in 1988, until the eastern part of the district was split off to create Ga East District in 2004; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Ga West District. Later, the western part of the district was split off to create the first Ga South Municipal District on 29 February 2008, with Weija as its capital town; while Ga West was later elevated to municipal district assembly status during that same year to become Ga West Municipal District. However on 15 March 2018, the eastern part of the district has split off to create Ga North Municipal District, thus the remaining part has been retained as Ga West Municipal District. The municipality is located in the western part of Greater Accra Region and has Amasaman as its capital town.
Nima is a Zongo residential town in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The town is popular because of its market – the Nima market. The name Nima has its etymology from the Ga Language which literally means the "city of the King". Nii means King in the Ga language, while the word city in the same language is mann. There have been a few contrasting views about the name, however, with some pointing to the town's Muslim community to say Nima was a reference to the Arabic word, "Ni'ma", which means blessings.

Christian Methodist Senior High School is a co-educational and public secondary school located at New Aplaku in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. In March 2024, students of the school were involved in a brawl with students of Ngleshie Amanfro Senior High School which resulted in the death of two students.
The N1 or National Highway 1 is a national highway in Ghana that begins at the border with Ivory Coast at Elubo and runs through Sekondi-Takoradi, Cape Coast, Winneba, Accra and Tema to the border with Togo at Aflao. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Ga West District in 2004, until the western part of the district was split off to create the first Ga South Municipal District on 29 February 2008, with Weija as its capital town; thus the remaining part was elevated to municipal district assembly status to become Ga West Municipal District. Later, a small portion of the district was split off to create Ga Central Municipal District on 28 June 2012; thus the remaining part has been retained as Ga South Municipal District. However on 15 March 2018, the northern part of the district was split off to create a new Ga South Municipal District, with Ngleshie Amanfro as its capital town; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Weija Gbawe Municipal District, with Weija as its capital town. The municipality is located in the western part of Greater Accra Region and has Weija as its capital town.

He was the former chief executive officer of National Youth Authority (NYA).

In 2023, UBA Ghana in collaboration with the UBA Foundation Read Africa project donated African Literature books to the school.
