Sriwijaya Air is an Indonesian airline headquartered and based at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten. It began its operations on 10 November 2003, and flies scheduled and chartered services on domestic routes within Indonesia as well as international routes to neighbouring countries. Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium, also known as Jakabaring Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Jakabaring Sport City complex in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 23,000 spectators. The construction began in 2001 and finished in 2004 to host the 2004 Indonesia National Games. The stadium was initially named as Jakabaring stadium after the location of the stadium in southern outskirt of Palembang. However, later the stadium was renamed "Gelora Sriwijaya", to honor and celebrate the 7th—13th century Indonesian empire of Srivijaya. The Third Place Playoff of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup was held in this stadium. The football club Sriwijaya is based at the stadium.
Sriwijaya Football Club, commonly known as Sriwijaya FC [sriwiˈdʒaja] or SFC, is an Indonesian professional football club based in South Sumatera, Palembang, that competes in the Liga 2, the second tier of Indonesian football. The club was founded on 23 October 2004 after the South Sumatra government bought Persijatim Solo FC, which was based in Surakarta. Their current home stadium is Gelora Sriwijaya in Way Halim, southern section of Palembang. The club is widely known by their nickname, Laskar Wong Kito. Sriwijaya is the first club in Indonesia which achieves double titles achievement in the same season.
Juanda International Airport (JIA) (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda) (IATA: SUB, ICAO: WARR), is an international airport located in Sedati, Sidoarjo. It is now the third busiest airport in Indonesia (after Soekarno-Hatta and Ngurah Rai airport). Anak Agung Ngurah Oka Ratmadi, commonly known as Cok Rat, was the regent of Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia from 1999 to 2005, and currently a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) from Bali since 2014.
