Niall Quinn (born 22 August 1988 in Dunboyne) is an Irish motor racing driver, [1] currently living in County Meath, Ireland. [2]

Niall Quinn is the only driver in Irish karting history to win Cadet, JICA and Formula "A", the three premier categories in Irish Karting. Quinn also was a junior kart champion, awarded the award in late 2003. [3]
At the end of 2005 Quinn won a worldwide driver shoot-out to win a contract to drive in the Red BullJunior team.
In 2006 Quinn raced in the Formula BMW UK Championship as a Red Bull Junior driver. With Carlin Motorsport, he was the early leader in the Rookie Cup Championship, for first-time car racers. Quinn finished 3rd in the Rookie Cup Standings, and an 11th position and 5th place in the Formula BMW World Finals (the end of year world championship) with Holzer RennSport was the highlight of the year.
Quinn was dropped by Red Bull and came 3rd in the 2006 Motorsport Ireland Young Racing Driver of the Year awards.[ citation needed ]
In 2007 Quinn raced in the Formula BMW Germany Series with Holzer RennSport. He finished 7th in the standings, and scored two podium finishes.
Niall was named Motorsport Ireland Young Racing Driver of the Year in November 2007. As part of this award he won the chance to drive for A1GP Team Ireland in the Australian race at Eastern Creek, Sydney in February 2008.
In January 2008 Quinn competed in four rounds of the Asian Formula Three series in Batangas, Philippines with Aran Racing. On his Formula Three debut he scored two second-place finishes.
He drove as Rookie driver for Team Ireland in A1GP World Cup of Motorsport, season 3, for the Australian, South African, Mexican, Chinese and Great British rounds of the series. He was signed again signed up for season 4 as rookie driver.
He competed in early rounds of the British Formula 3 series in the National class with Team Loctite in a Dallara Mugen-Honda. Later in the season he raced in the German F3 championship for one round at Oschersleben with Van Amersfoort Racing in a Dallara Volkswagen.
Niall won the Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy, with two wins and 4 podiums.
Despite the success in 2008, Quinn did not race full-time in 2009, only testing for A1 Team Ireland and appearing in a few exhibition events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Dublin Grand Prix.
He has signed on with Team PBIR to race in the Firestone Indy Lights series beginning with the inaugural race at Barber Motorsports Park in April 2010.

Robert Józef Kubica is a Polish racing and rally driver, who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for AF Corse and in the European Le Mans Series for AO. Kubica competed in Formula One between 2006 and 2021, and the World Rally Championship from 2013 to 2016; he won the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix with BMW Sauber, and remains the only Polish driver to compete in Formula One. In endurance racing, Kubica won the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship in the LMP2 class with WRT.
Marchy Lee Ying-Kin is a racing driver from Hong Kong. Born in 1976 in Hong Kong, Marchy started his racing career at just 9 years old and has become one of the top racecar drivers in Hong Kong.

As in previous years, there were ten rounds – each with two races – held at a variety of European circuits. Each weekend consisted of one 60-minute practice session and one qualifying session, followed by one c.110 km race and one c.80 km race. In a revised qualifying system that used only one session, the starting order for race 2 was determined by the finishing order of race 1, with the top eight positions reversed.

As of now, six drivers have competed in Formula One.
Christian Vietoris is a former German racing driver. He competed in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, most recently for HWA Team. Vietoris has also been a part of the revitalized Mercedes-Benz Junior Team, together with Robert Wickens and Roberto Merhi. Vietoris made his debut in the DTM in 2011, driving for Persson Motorsport, before being promoted to HWA for the 2012 DTM season.

The single qualifying session was retained from 2006, with the starting order for race 2 being determined by the finishing order of race 1, with the top eight positions reversed. This season was notable for the return of Volkswagen as an F3 engine supplier. The drivers' title was won by Romain Grosjean and the teams' title was again won by ASM Formule 3. It was the fourth double title win in succession for ASM. The top four drivers in the championship would go on to race in Formula 1: Sébastien Buemi, Kamui Kobayashi and champion Grosjean all debuted in F1 in 2009 and Nico Hülkenberg in 2010.

The 2008 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the sixth championship year of Europe's premier Formula Three series. The season was dominated by 21-year-old German Nico Hülkenberg, who won seven of the season's ten feature races amassing 76 of his total of 85 championship points on Saturday afternoons. He won the championship by 35.5 points from early frontrunner Edoardo Mortara as the 2007's rookie cup winner's season somewhat tailed off after the Norisring, scoring just 9.5 points in the final twelve races compared to Hülkenberg's 60. Jules Bianchi's strong finish to the season, including a win in the final race at Hockenheim and coupled with Renger van der Zande's fifth place and Mika Mäki's ninth place, it allowed the 2008 Ultimate Masters winner to finish third in the championship, a point ahead of both van der Zande and Mäki.

Each weekend consisted of 1 hour and 30 minutes of free practice on Friday – in either one or two sessions – and two 30-minute qualifying sessions. This was followed by a c.110 km race on Saturday and a c.80 km race on Sunday. Each qualifying session awarded one bonus point for pole position and each race awarded points for the top eight finishers, with ten points per win. It commenced on April 26, 2003 at Hockenheimring and ended on October 26 at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours.

Bradley John Philpot is a British racing driver, who won the SP2T class of the German VLN series in 2018 & 2019, the 2016 Creventic 24H Silverstone in the A3 Touring Car class and the 2015 Race of Champions Celebrity Skills Challenge at the Olympic Stadium, London. His father John Philpot is a former ice dancer who finished second at the 1979 Nebelhorn Trophy with his skating partner Carol Long. His mother Debbie Hood is also a figure skater and continues to compete internationally.
Dries Vanthoor is a racing driver from Belgium who is set to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship with BMW M Team WRT. In his previous role as an Audi factory driver Vanthoor amassed multiple accolades, winning the 2018 Bathurst 12 Hours and 2019 24 Hours of Nürburgring, as well as taking three consecutive titles in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup from 2020 to 2022 alongside Charles Weerts.
