Nicholas William Preston (born 22 January 1972) is an English former professional cricketer. He played for Kent County Cricket Club
Preston was born at Dartford in Kent and first played for the county's Second XI in 1990. [1] [2] He made his first-class cricket debut for the side in May 1996 and went on to make nine first-class and six List A appearances for the Kent First XI as a seam bowler - all but one of them during 1996. [2] [3] He played once against Cambridge University in 1997 and continued playing for the Second XI until the end of the season before being released by the club. [2] [4] He is married to Mandy Preston and has two children Oliver and Tyla Preston
Leslie Ethelbert George Ames was a wicket-keeper and batsman for the England cricket team and Kent County Cricket Club. In his obituary,Wisden described him as the greatest wicket-keeper-batsman of all time. He is the only wicket-keeper-batsman to score a hundred first-class centuries.

Frank Edward Woolley was an English professional cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club between 1906 and 1938 and for the England cricket team. A genuine all-rounder,Woolley was a left-handed batsman and a left-arm bowler. He was an outstanding fielder close to the wicket and is the only non wicket-keeper to have held over 1,000 catches in a first-class career,whilst his total number of runs scored is the second highest of all time and his total number of wickets taken the 27th highest.
Mark Hamilton Dekker is a Rhodesian born former Zimbabwean international cricketer. He played 14 Test matches and 23 One Day Internationals for Zimbabwe in the 1990s. In December 2018 Dekker was appointed to be the head coach of Kent Women in England before taking a coaching role with the Kent County Cricket Club Academy the following year.
James Cullum Tredwell is an English former international cricketer. A left-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler,he played his domestic cricket for Kent County Cricket Club and was appointed as County Captain for the 2013 season. He made his debut for Kent in the 2001 season,nine days before his first appearance for England Under-19s. He often fielded at slip. Tredwell was a member of the England team that won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20.
Nicholas Richard Denis Compton is a South African-born English former Test and first-class cricketer who most recently played for Middlesex County Cricket Club. The grandson of Denis Compton,he represented England in 16 Test matches.
Derek Gilbert Ufton was an English professional cricketer and footballer,and later a football manager. Playing professionally for Kent County Cricket Club as a wicket-keeper and Charlton Athletic Football Club,Ufton won a single international cap for the England national football team in 1953. He went on to manage Plymouth Argyle. At the time of his death,in March 2021 at the age of 92,he was England's oldest living international footballer.

Henry John Berridge Preston,known also as Harry Preston,was an English professional cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club between 1907 and 1913. He also played in the Lancashire League,and in Scotland where he also coached,and represented Scotland. He was born in Bareilly in India in 1883 and died,aged 80,in Hastings in 1964.
