Nickels is a Canadian casual dining restaurant chain. The restaurant has an extensive menu ranging from complete breakfasts to hamburgers, milkshakes, pizza, chicken, ribs, salads and a number of sandwiches, including Montreal-style smoked meat.
Nickels was originally created by pop diva Céline Dion and four friends, who opened their first restaurant in 1990. The name came from the couple's lucky number, 5. [1] The parent company claims an ongoing business relationship with Dion.
Nickels has since expanded to several franchised restaurants located primarily in Quebec and Ontario. Originally designed to resemble a typical North American family diner, Nickels redesigned some of its restaurants and introduced a grill and bar concept. The most recent iteration is operating as Nickels Delicatessen with a deli and bar concept.
Nickels is now part of the Foodtastic group of restaurants which also includes Les Rôtisseries Benny, La Belle & La Boeuf, Souvlaki Bar, Carlos & Pepe's, Vinnie Gambini's Italian Restaurants, Bacaro, Chocolato, Big Rig, Monza and Au Coq. [2]

It is a concept album which features thirteen songs written by influential female authors from France and Quebec, including: Françoise Dorin, Christine Orban, Nina Bouraoui, Marie Laberge, Lise Payette, Denise Bombardier, Nathalie Nechtschein, Jovette Alice Bernier, Janette Bertrand and George Sand. The themes throughout this album centre on "woman"; the album's title is a play on the title of her earlier album D'eux, replacing the third person plural masculine or neutral pronoun eux with the feminine elles.
Céline sur les Plaines is the ninth home video by Canadian singer Celine Dion, released on DVD in Canada by Productions J on 11 November 2008. Entitled Live à Quebec, it was also issued in France, Belgium and Switzerland by TF1 Video on 20 May 2009. The DVD includes Dion's historic concert in Quebec City in front of 250,000 spectators, which took place on the Plains of Abraham on 22 August 2008 in celebration of the city's 400th anniversary. The concert was issued as a DVD/CD combo in two editions: English-language Taking Chances World Tour: The Concert and French-language Tournée mondiale Taking Chances: le spectacle. Dion had embarked on the 2008–2009 Taking Chances World Tour for promotion of her 2007 studio album Taking Chances. It became one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time. The performances in Boston and Montreal during the North American leg of Taking Chances World Tour were filmed for a video release and directed by Jean Lamoureux.

It is her first new French studio album since 2007's D'elles. Sans attendre features sixteen songs produced mainly by Jacques Veneruso, David Gategno and Scott Price. It contains three duets with Johnny Hallyday, Jean-Pierre Ferland and the late Henri Salvador. The first single from the album, "Parler à mon père" was released on 2 July 2012 and "Le miracle" was selected as the second track to promote Sans attendre. Both songs reached number one in Quebec and "Parler à mon père" also peaked inside the top ten in France. Third single, "Qui peut vivre sans amour?" was sent to radio stations in March 2013.

Un peu de nous is a primarily French-language compilation album by Canadian singer Celine Dion, released by Columbia Records on 21 July 2017 in France and on 28 July 2017 in Belgium Wallonia. The three-CD set includes studio versions of songs performed by Dion during her 2017 tour on two discs, and also instrumental versions of selected tracks on the third disc. The title Un peu de nous was taken from the "Encore un soir" song lyrics. The album topped the chart in France and was certified Gold. It also reached number six in Belgium Wallonia.
