Céline Marie Claudette Dion is a Canadian singer. Referred to as the "Queen of Power Ballads", she is noted for her powerful and technically skilled vocals. Her recordings have been mainly in English and French, although she has also sung in Spanish, Italian, German, Latin, Japanese, and Chinese.

"The Show Must Go On" is a song by British rock band Queen, featured as the twelfth and final track on their 1991 album, Innuendo. It is credited to Queen, but written mainly by Brian May. The song chronicles the effort of frontman Freddie Mercury continuing to perform despite approaching the end of his life, although his diagnosis with HIV/AIDS had not yet been made public in spite of ongoing media speculation claiming that he was seriously ill. When the band recorded the song in 1990, Mercury's condition had deteriorated to the point that May had concerns as to whether he was physically capable of singing it. May recalls; "I said, 'Fred, I don't know if this is going to be possible to sing.' And he went, 'I'll fucking do it, darling'—vodka down—and went in and killed it, completely lacerated that vocal".

Steinman won a court case, which prevented Meat Loaf from recording it. Girl group Pandora's Box went on to record it, and it was subsequently made famous through a cover by Celine Dion, which upset Meat Loaf because he was going to use it for a planned album with the working title Bat Out of Hell III.

The Taking Chances World Tour was the ninth concert tour by French Canadian singer Céline Dion, in-support of her thirteenth French-language and 22nd studio album, D'elles (2007), as well as her tenth English-language and 23rd studio album, Taking Chances (2007). It includes the record-breaking A New Day... show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The blu-ray edition was also released on 5 February 2008 in North America, and between 8–22 February 2008 in Europe. Live in Las Vegas: A New Day... topped the charts in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Netherlands, Estonia and New Zealand, and reached top ten elsewhere. It was commercially successful achieving 3× Diamond status in Canada, Diamond in France and Multi-Platinum, Platinum and Gold in other countries. It also became the 19th best selling DVD of 2008 in Brazil.

It was released by Columbia Records on 24 October 2008 as the follow-up to her previous English-language compilation, All the Way... A Decade of Song (1999). In the album's liner notes, she dedicated this collection of songs, recorded between 1990 and 2008, to her fans who supported her throughout the years. My Love: Essential Collection was released as a single disc, consisting of Dion's most successful singles, including: "My Heart Will Go On", "Because You Loved Me", "The Power of Love" and "It's All Coming Back to Me Now". The two-disc edition, entitled My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection, has been further expanded to include more hits and rare songs that have not previously appeared on her albums. Both editions include one new track, "There Comes a Time". The album wasn't released in Japan because Sony Music Entertainment decided to issue a different compilation there, Complete Best.
Celine: Through the Eyes of the World is a documentary–concert film chronicling the life of Canadian singer, Celine Dion during her 2008–2009 Taking Chances World Tour. It premiered in Miami on 16 February 2010 and was released by The Hot Ticket in theaters in North America on 17 February 2010. It was also released in Australia and the United Kingdom. The film received mixed reviews from critics, with most of them indicating it is mainly for the fans. Celine: Through the Eyes of the World grossed $1,027,341 in Canada alone and became the number-one domestic movie there.
Céline une seule fois / Live 2013 is a live album/home video by Canadian singer, Celine Dion. It was released by Columbia Records on 16 May 2014 as a three-disc set. The album/video was recorded on 27 July 2013 on the historic Plains of Abraham in Quebec City during the one-night only Céline... une seule fois show. The CD also includes four bonus tracks recorded in Paris during Dion's sold-out Tournée Européenne 2013 in November and December 2013.
