Nicola Spiess married Werdenigg [1] (born 29 July 1958) is an Austrian former alpine skier. [2]
She is the sister of the former alpine skier Uli Spiess and is the daughter of Ernst Spiess and Erika Mahringer. [3]
During her career she has achieved 17 results among the top 10 (4 podiums) in the World Cup. [2] She competed in the 1976 Winter Olympics and was 4th in downhill. [2] She retired from the competitive skiing at 21.
In 2017, after the Weinstein scandal, she talked about the sexual abuse suffered by members of the Austrian Alpine Ski Team in the 1970s. [1] She also wrote a book on the subject: Ski Macht Spiele (Ski power games). [4]

Renate Götschl is an Austrian former alpine ski racer. She is a two-time individual World Champion in the combined (1997) and downhill (1999), and has won a total of 9 World Championships medals. She also won two Olympic medals in 2002, the bronze medal in downhill and the silver medal in the combined.
Annemarie Moser-Pröll is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from Austria. Born in Kleinarl, Salzburg, she was the most successful female alpine ski racer during the 1970s, with an all-time women's record of six overall titles, including five consecutively. She had most success in downhill, giant slalom and combined races. In 1980, her last year as a competitor, she secured her third Olympic medal at Lake Placid and won five World Cup races. Her younger sister Cornelia Pröll is also a former alpine Olympian.
Petra Kronberger is an Austrian former alpine skier, who participated in all disciplines. She was the first female alpine skier to win in all five World Cup events.

Saslong is a World Cup downhill ski course in Italy just above Val Gardena/Gröden. Located on the Langkofel in the Dolomites, the race course made its World Cup debut in February 1969. The ski course is named after the mountain Saslonch with an adapted spelling.
