Nicolas Jean-Prost (born 1 May 1967 in Le Sentier, Switzerland) is a French former ski jumper who competed from 1989 to 1996. At the Winter Olympics, he finished sixth in the team large hill at Lillehammer in 1994 and 19th in the individual normal hill at Albertville in 1992.
Jean-Prost's best individual finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was sixth in the large hill event at Thunder Bay, Ontario in 1995. His best finish at the Ski-flying World Championships was 16th at Bad Mitterndorf in 1996.
Jean-Prost's best individual World Cup finish was fifth on three occasions at various hills from 1992 to 1995.

The 1993 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 47th season of FIA Formula One motor racing. It featured the 1993 Formula One World Championship for Drivers and the 1993 Formula One World Championship for Constructors, which were contested concurrently over a sixteen-race series that commenced on 14 March and ended on 7 November. Alain Prost won his fourth and final Drivers' Championship, and Williams-Renault won their second consecutive Constructors' Championship, the sixth in all for Williams.
Janne Petteri Ahonen is a Finnish former ski jumper and drag racer. He competed in ski jumping between 1992 and 2018, and is one of the sport's most successful athletes of all time, as well as one of the most successful from Finland. Ahonen won two consecutive World Cup overall titles, the Four Hills Tournament a record five times, two individual gold medals at the World Championships, and the Nordic Tournament once. Nicknamed Kuningaskotka, he has been described as the greatest ski jumper to have never won an individual medal at the Winter Olympics.
Ari-Pekka Nikkola is a Finnish former ski jumper.
Bjørn Myrbakken is a Norwegian former ski jumper who competed from 1991 to 1995. He won a gold medal in the team large hill at the 1993 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun and finished 33rd in the individual normal hill in those same championships.
Sylvain Freiholz is a Swiss former ski jumper who competed from 1991 to 2003. He won a bronze medal in the individual large hill event at the 1997 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim.
Roberto Cecon is an Italian former ski jumper.
Robert Mateja is a Polish former ski jumper who competed from 1992 to 2008. His best individual World Cup finishes were fifth in Harrachov on 14 December 1996, and fifth again in Sapporo on 28 January 2001. His best team finish was third in Villach on 9 December 2001.
Martin Trunz is a Swiss former ski jumper who competed from 1990 to 1996. At the Winter Olympics, he finished eighth in the team large hill at Albertville in 1992 and 40th in the individual large hill at Lillehammer in 1994.
Stefan Zünd is a Swiss former ski jumper. He competed in the normal hill and large hill events at the 1992 Winter Olympics. Along with Jan Boklöv and Jiří Malec, he was an early pioneer of the V-style.
Samo Gostiša is a Slovenian former ski jumper who competed from 1990 to 1997. At the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, he finished sixth in the team large hill and 12th in the individual normal hill events.
Didier Mollard is a former French ski jumper who competed from 1986 to 1997. At the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, he finished eighth in the individual normal hill event.
Janne Henrik Väätäinen is a Finnish former ski jumper who competed from 1992 to 2001. At the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, he finished fifth in the team large hill and 30th in the individual normal hill events.

Jakub Sucháček is a Czech former ski jumper who competed from 1994 to 2001. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, he finished seventh in the team large hill and 15th in the individual large hill events.
Marco Steinauer is a Swiss former ski jumper who competed from 1992 to 2006. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, he finished sixth in the team large hill and 33rd in the individual large hill events.
Bruno Reuteler was a Swiss ski jumper who competed from 1992 to 2000. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, he finished sixth in the team large hill and 18th in the individual normal hill events.
At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec, Czech Republic, four Nordic combined were held. It also showed the biggest format changes since the introduction of the Gundersen method at the 1985 World Championships in Seefeld, Austria. In addition to the 10 km mass start event, there were changes in the Gundersen-based individual events. The 7.5 km sprint event was changed to a 10 km individual large hill event while the 15 km individual event was changed to a 10 km individual normal hill event with both being approved in September 2008. These changes also affected the Nordic combined program for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver though the mass start was excluded. The United States, which had two medals in Nordic combined prior to this championships, won a total of four medals with three golds and a bronze. Todd Lodwick, whose previous best individual finish at the world championships was 13th in the 7.5 km sprint at Oberstdorf in 2005, won golds in the 10 km mass start and 10 km individual normal hill events. His teammate Bill Demong won a gold in the 10 km individual large hill and bronze in the 10 km individual normal hill events. Germans Tino Edelmann and Björn Kircheisen each won a silver in the 4 x 5 km freestyle team event, then won individual silver medals in the 10 km mass start and 10 km individual large hills events, respectively. France's Jason Lamy Chappuis earned two bronze medals, earning them in the 10 km individual large hill and 10 km mass start. Norway's Jan Schmid won a silver in the 10 km mass start and a bronze in the 4 x 5 km freestyle event. A fourth American medal was prevented when Demong was disqualified in the ski jumping part of the 4 x 5 km freestyle team event for failing to wear his bib during competition, dropping the US to 12th and forcing their withdrawal from the cross country portion of the event. The Japanese won their first gold medal at the championships in the team event since 1995 when they edged the Germans in a photo finish. Current World Cup leader Anssi Koivuranta of Finland has a disappointing world championships, earning his best finish of fourth both in the 10 km individual normal hill and 10 km mass start events. Norway's Magnus Moan, second in the World Cup standings, also had a disappointing championships as well, with a best place finish of fifth in the 10 km individual large hill events even though he set the fastest cross-country skiing portion time in both the 10 km individual large hill and the 10 km individual normal hill events.
Urban Franc is a Slovenian former ski jumper who competed from 1992 to 1999. He won a bronze medal in the individual event at the FIS Ski-Flying World Championships 1996 in Bad Mitterndorf.
Andreas Wellinger is a German ski jumper. His career-best achievements include winning an individual gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, individual silver at the 2018 Winter Olympics, mixed team gold at the 2017 Ski Jumping World Championships, and team silver at the 2016 Ski Flying World Championships. Wellinger's best finish in the World Cup overall standings is fourth, in the 2016/17 season.
