Night of the Proms 2005 was a European musical touring event in 2005. This CD compilation contains songs from the tour, including "The Sign" and "All That She Wants" by Ace of Base. It also included other artists like Donna Summer, Safri Duo, Roger Daltrey (from The Who). The CD was released by Sony BMG Music in Belgium on December 20, 2005.

All That She Wants 1992 single by Ace of Base

"All That She Wants" is a song by Swedish group Ace of Base. It was released in 1992 as the second single from their first studio album, Happy Nation, and, in the following year, it was released as the first single from the 1993 album The Sign in North America. Produced by Denniz Pop, Jonas Berggren, and Ulf Ekberg, the song was inspired by the Kayo song "Another Mother".

Ace of Base Swedish pop group

Ace of Base was a Swedish pop group, originally consisting of Ulf Ekberg and three siblings, Jonas Berggren, Linn Berggren and Jenny Berggren. The group released four studio albums between 1992 and 2002, and sold 50 million records worldwide, making them the third-most successful Swedish band of all time, after ABBA and Roxette.

Donna Summer American singer and songwriter

LaDonna Adrian Gaines, widely known by her stage name based on her married name Donna Summer, was an American singer, songwriter and actress. She gained prominence during the disco era of the late 1970s. A five-time Grammy Award winner, Summer was the first artist in history to have three consecutive double albums reach number one on the United States Billboard 200 chart and charted four number-one singles in the US within a 12-month period. Summer has reportedly sold over 130 million records worldwide, making her one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. She also charted two number-one singles on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in the US and a number-one single in the United Kingdom.

The song was written by band member Jonas Berggren, who was hoping to reproduce the flavour of their hit "All That She Wants". Jonas specifically mentions the similarities between the two songs in the liner notes of the booklet for The Bridge album: "We decided early on to do an "All That She Wants" arrangement and drums because it's always fun to have something old on a new record."

"Played-A-Live " is a trance song performed by Danish percussion duo Safri Duo. It was released in 2000 as the lead single from their first mainstream studio album Episode II. The Michael Parsberg-produced song, which has a mix of tribal drums with electronic music twists, sold 1.5 million copies worldwide and became the fourth fastest selling single ever in Europe. The single topped the Danish Singles Chart. Outside Denmark, the single also topped the charts in Switzerland, and peaked at number two in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. It reached #6 in the United Kingdom and #7 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs in the United States. "Helele" is a song by South African singer Velile Mchunu and Danish percussion duo Safri Duo. It was released on 7 May 2010 as the only new single from Safri Duo's Greatest Hits album. The song was the official trailer song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup broadcast on German television channel RTL and Switzerland's Schweizer Fernsehen and Télévision Suisse Romande in June–July. "Helele" is based on the 1971 song "Aieaoa" by French producer Daniel Vangarde and Belgian producer Jean Kluger in the group Yamasuki. It was famously covered by Belgian group Black Blood in 1975 and English girl group Bananarama in 1981. "Helele" peaked at number one in Switzerland, number two in Germany and number eight in Austria.

It was released on March 8, 2011. The film was produced by Jon Small, Joel's former bandmate in the 1960s groups The Hassles and Attila. The film aired on PBS as part of Great Performances.
