Nigor Mortis is the seventh studio album by Sananda Maitreya (formerly Terence Trent D'Arby). It is available as MP3 files and on CD format, [1] exclusively from his on-line web store. [2] The CD version is housed in a DVD keep case with an enclosed eight page photo booklet.
The project was recorded in Milan, Italy, where the artist has lived since 2002, over the course of five studio sessions.
All songs are written, arranged, produced and performed by Sananda Maitreya. Two songs ("With A Girl Like You" and "Angel (Not A Saint)") have the participation of Lucio Fabbri on fiddle and banjo. Maitreya plays the four basic instruments of rock music: drums, bass, guitar and keyboards.
The name "Nigor Mortis" represents the state between rigor mortis and "vigor mortis", from the stiffness of a corpse to the vitality of life. [3]

Sananda Francesco Maitreya, who started his career with the stage name Terence Trent D'Arby, is an American singer and songwriter who came to fame with his debut studio album, Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D'Arby (1987). The album included the singles "If You Let Me Stay", "Sign Your Name", "Dance Little Sister", and "Wishing Well".

League of Blind Women was a short-lived alternative rock supergroup that included Rob Buck and Jerry Augustyniak (drums) from 10,000 Maniacs, Casey Orr (bass) from Gwar and Rigor Mortis, Mike Scaccia (guitar) from Ministry and Rigor Mortis, Kol Marshall (keyboards) from Critical Mass and See No Evil, and Chris Kelly (vocals). When Casey Orr left the band in March 1999 to return to Gwar, Mitch Marine from Tripping Daisy took his place on bass. Dave Dunn played drums with the band after Jerry Augustyniak left.
"No Time" is the debut single by American rapper Lil' Kim featuring Puff Daddy. It was released as the lead single for her debut album Hard Core in October 1996. It peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100, reached the top ten on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and peaked the US Rap Songs for nine weeks—becoming Kim's first number one hit on the chart. Additionally, the song charted at number 45 on the UK Singles Chart. Waste Management is the third and final English language studio album by Russian recording group t.A.T.u. released in Russia on 15 December 2009, by their own independent record label T.A. Music. Unlike their previous English studio album, it is the group's first studio album not released by Interscope Records due to their departure from the label in 2006. It was composed by Queen and her then husband Gran Omar, produced by Tony "CD" Kelly and Rafi Mercenario and released as the third single from the album in 2004. The song heavily samples Sean Paul's "Like Glue" released a year earlier. On digital editions of the album, Anthony Kelly, co-writer of "Like Glue", is credited as being featured on the song, though, provides no vocals. There is a music video associated with the song released along with the music video for the last single off the album "Tu No Puedes". In the music video, she sports the Los Angeles Lakers' women's sport outfit. Ivy Queen performed the English version of the song on ABC's Good Morning America. The song was performed as a part of the set of her 2008 World Tour which was held from the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, also known as the Coliseum of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Prometheus & Pandora is the eleventh studio album by Sananda Maitreya, formerly known as Terence Trent D'Arby, released on October 13, 2017. It was recorded at Maitreya's home studios, Treehouse Lab, in Lodi, Italy, and was made available in CD format and to download from his official website. It has 53 tracks in three volumes. Guest vocalist Luisa Corna performs as Pandora on several tracks. Maitreya gave an interview to The Guardian ahead of its release, but said "I didn’t make this album to be back in the fray... Maybe it’s not meant for mass consumption."
Pandora’s PlayHouse is the twelfth studio album by Sananda Maitreya, released on March 15, 2021. A double album with 28 tracks, it was released on CD and as a digital download from his website. A single, "The Madhouse", was released as a download and streaming, ahead of the album. It also contains a tribute to his idol Prince. Speaking to The Times, he said, "we definitely saw a lot of ourselves in each other." Maitreya wrote all the songs and played every instrument on every track, with the exception of three collaborations, the cover "Time Is on My Side" with Irene Grandi, "Reflecting Light" with The Avalanches and Vashti Bunyan, and "Pandora's Plight" with Antonio Faraò.
