Nikita Rudy Tromp (born 8 May 2002) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a forward for Eredivisie club FC Utrecht.

Career

First spell at Ajax

During her first spell at Ajax, Tromp didn't make any appearances, being named on the bench once. [1]

PEC Zwolle

Tromp signed a one-year contract with PEC Zwolle in June 2019. [2] She made her Eredivisie debut against ADO Den Haag on 23 August 2019. [3] She scored her first league goal against VV Alkmaar on 20 September 2019, scoring in the 43rd minute. [4] After the 2019–20 season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PEC Zwolle announced Tromp's departure from the club in April 2020. [5]

Return to Ajax

Tromp's return to Ajax became public in May 2020. [6] She debuted with the club in the Eredivisie on 6 September 2020 in a win over FC Twente. [7] She scored her first league goals against her former club PEC Zwolle on 30 October 2020, scoring a brace in the 49th and 56th minute. [8]

In November 2021, she was voted as the greatest talent in Europe. [9] On 17 May 2023, Tromp extended her contract with Ajax until mid-2024. [10] However, she also dealt with knee injuries. [11]

Utrecht

On 22 June 2024, Tromp was announced at FC Utrecht. [12]

International career

Tromp has represented Netherlands at various youth levels. With 31 goals, she is the all-time top scorer of Netherlands under-17 team. [13]

Tromp scored 6 goals against Georgia U17s on 17 October 2018. [14] She scored 4 goals against Latvia U17s on 20 October 2018. [15] Tromp scored a hattrick against Austria U17s on 5 May 2019. [16] She scored 6 goals against Montenegro U19s on 2 October 2019. [17]
